  • Yet again Poppycat your commenting on things it seems you know nothing about, you remind me of Corporal Jones in Dad's Army you'd be the first to shout "dont panic dont panic" and I bet you stock up with bread over xmas even though the shops now only shut for 1 day! only my opinion but I'm entitled too it as you keep telling everyone.it may very well be a con but unless you have evidence that it's a scam stop libelling the company.

  • I have ordered from this website, i thought it was worth a try and see if it pays off!

Will let you know how i get on!

Around the 20th from what they have advised me, The only thing i was unsure of was the fact that you could only use paypal or google checkout.

I wonder which offers most support over the recovery of lost money?

So, you didn't say this company is not reputable? You didn't imply that the call centre noises heard by someone else on this thread when he phoned their customer services was just a recording?

The company is registered in the UK with Companies House. The domain name is registered to that company. Someone on HDUK has explained why this TV is so cheap and why there would be a large number of these TVs as grade A stock. Yes, I have gone for it knowing full well that I am protected should things go wrong.

Just thought I'd advise that just because a company is registered at companies house does not make it a legit company. Any one can register a fake company with little knowhow, some can also amend other companies details in order to con people and businesses. As a credit controller for a large IT organisation, before giving credit we check numerous systems to authenticate companies. As for the idea that due to items being returned due to bad packeging companies are willing to make a loss of 66% rather than have the item returned and repacked or redistributed sounds pretty much unbelievable. If a distributor does not accept delivery of an item being delivered by the manufacturer, then the item is still the property of the manufacturer and not the delivery company. If the delivery is done by the manufacturer direct, then surely it is budgeted within costs to have items returned.

The deal does sound to good tobe true (in my opinion) but good look to anyone who orders and hopefully you'll get a good bargain.
if i had known then what i know now

Don't know where you get this 66% loss figure from. After all, it's only a loss if the item is sold for less than what it cost ro produce. These Beko TVs are cheaply made. The person in that quote never said the returns became the property of the delivery company. He was quite clear in what he said, in fact - they go to the Beko returns warehouse near Coventry. This is done as it is cheaper to store them in the UK and then sell them on to companies such as musthave100. There are plenty of companies buying up stock like this - unbeatablegadgets is one, bigpockets also dabbles...all legitimate companies selling certain graded lines at rock bottom prices. I never said a registered company gives you extra protection, by the way.

  • well those taking a punt deserve a bit of luck if they turn out good.

I am still confused by the price as they could have easily sold for £200 delivered.

the delay scenario is still uncomfortable.
