  • Glad little one liked her bed. Its lovely when they first start using a bed, they think they are all grown up:)
Glad to hear your appraisal went well also. Last time I had my appraisal, my manager commented on how good my time keeping and absence record was...then a few weeks later OH had his bike accident and I had to take some days off, then after Christmas I lost 4 weeks with the chest infection, then back at work for 2 weeks, 1 week off for our holiday and then another week off with the tummy bug....don't think I will be getting such a good review this year....:rotfl:
    DMP 2015 £57,549, now £36,112 (37% paid)
    EF £200 Mortgage OP's this year £115

It's a nice milestone and she's so pleased with it. Just a cot to declutter now :D

Little miss's mattress has arrived, so I've got it airing and will put it on later. I've washed the protector and sheets which arrived yesterday so it will look much better and we can get rid of the cot and mattress. Sadly they aren't able to be sold as not in suitable condition, but we've used them for both kids, so we can't complain, we've had our money's worth!

I got little miss to KM her soft toys this morning. I pulled them all out and asked her to pick each one up, give it a cuddle and then decide whether she wanted to keep it or not. She's done a pretty good job and largely kept the bits I thought she would and let go of the ones she doesn't play with. I'll let little jwil have a look through just in case he wants any but not expecting him to.

Little miss has just decluttered a bowl by dropping it in the kitchen :( I can't really get cross as she was only trying to help, but bowls are one of the few things we don't have loads of! Typical!

She has also just informed me that she's going for a nap and doesn't need me to come up with her. Little miss independence! She doesn't really need a nap, so expecting she just wants her dummy (she's only allowed it at bedtime). She's just shouted down that she wants a story, so better go and do that :rotfl:

I've been following your diaries for a long time and I just wanted to say I think you've done amazingly. You really put me to shame with your selling and decluttering. And I have to say I was so pleased for you when you set up your DMP. You'd been battling for so long and kept so upbeat about it all. You deserve your little family holidays.

    Your kids are absolutely adorable!
    Just keep swimming!

Hoping to have a quieter weekend this weekend and get some stuff done at home. I need to reorganise the kids bedroom and tidy it. I might get them to look through their books as well.

I've got some ideas about moving furniture around to get rid of my two big wardrobes which are too big now that I've decluttered. It would mean a couple of bulky items moved from the kids rooms and replaced with smaller things, which would give them more space. I'll have to speak to DH about it and see what he thinks.

I need to do a new SOA now that all the annual bills for next year have arrived. Everything's gone up. I also need to increase my grocery budget as that's gone up a lot since I've been doing SW. Also need to allow for that membership too. I was originally going to go it alone, but think I want the group support at the moment too, to keep me going. I will have to see how I can do it a bit more frugally, as there isn't going to be a lot to spare!

I've had some stuff prepped for a few weeks that I haven't put on ebay, must do that, as I've pretty much run out of money for the month  Two weeks today until payday! I've got my MOT and Service next month, so that will be tight too. Fingers crossed nothing major. This will be the first MOT since I got the car so I'm a bit nervous about it.

Little jwil's got his school disco today so he's looking forward to that. Little miss heard that the kids at school were painting red noses for a donation to comic relief. She wanted her face painted, but we don't have any face paints, so she's gone to nursery with a pinkish lipstick painted red nose :rotfl:

Hope everyone has a good weekend :)

Well done on the weight loss and appraisal. Give yourself a pat on the back for being so busy and achieving so much.
Where abouts did you get your matress protector if you dont mind me asking. I struggle to find non plasticky ones. Im pretending to save for the twins grown up beds as they are getting far to big for the cotbeds. I have single duvets already but one twin wears pull ups at night but doesnt really want to anymore.
