3lb off last night :T :T That's my gain gone and a little bit more
I also won the raffle so got some goodies there!
I'm not holding out much hope for next week, but will see how it goes.
All bills paid yesterday, the novelty still hasn't worn off about the money being there, and not panicking about how everything will be paid.
After this weekend I'm going to try and have a frugal month, I think I was a bit spendy last month. I've got a few things selling on eBay this weekend, so that will help too
We had our gutters cleaned yesterday, the first time in 10 years or more! They look amazing now! I might splash out and get the windows cleaned too as they haven't been done either and they are filthy, particularly upstairs. He told me it would be £20 so I can cope with that

We've had a lovely weekend in Cornwall :j The weather wasn't as bad as predicted too, so we managed to be out and about. Lots of lovely sea air and we took the kids to Lappa Valley which they loved as well. Spendy weekend, but not too bad. The accommodation was really good and clean, and so £65 for the weekend including £25 fee for the dog was an absolute bargain :T :T We are definitely going to try and do it again this year.
Lots of ebay sales to come home to as well :T DH's cleared quite a bit, and I've sold a few things that went for much more than expected :T :T (I wasn't really expecting them to sell at all!).
Hope everyone is well"Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do". Eoin McGee0 -

Lovely to hear you had a nice time in Cornwall. Haven't been since we were kids but used to love going there every year. Would love to take the DC to St Michael's Mount one day. Glad little Jwil had a good birthdaySPC 0760

All sounding tiptop Jwil
and so glad about the sales. Always a joy to get shot of stuff, particularly when it gives you cash in return!
Had a quiet day today - a day off but weather so horrid stayed in made soup from some veg box roots and lit the fire and watched TV. A great way to spend a Monday in the end0 -
Thank you everyone
I agree St Ives, St Michael's Mount etc are lovely. We were near Perranporth so it's handy for getting to most areas of Cornwall.
All the rest of the parcels posted today :T It's nice when people pay promptly."Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do". Eoin McGee0 -
I'm getting a bit spendy, must reign it in a bit
We've booked another weekend away in October - same Sun deal, same place, same price :T
We are also going up to Orkney to see family, so that will cost a fair amount. But we haven't been up for a couple of years and this might be the last time for a while.
I've been trying to get a bed for little miss, think I've possibly got one now, second hand for £25. I think it's with a mattress, but we'll probably replace it. Just waiting to hear now. She's desperate for a bed so she will be very pleased.
Hoping for a quieter weekend this weekend, but little jwil has a party, and DH promised to take them swimming, so I'll need to go as well if they do.
I desperately need to go grocery shopping, we didn't do any last week, and have been eating from the house. The cupboards are starting to look bare, and I've been completely off plan the last few days. That will explain my 2lb gain last nightI really want to get back on it now, and get losing. There should be no excuse until Easter now!
