We had a nice weekend, we took the kids out Christmas light hunting. There's a road in a nearby town where all the houses light up for charity. It's lovely to see so we went up there yesterday. We also wandered around a bit to see other individual houses. I love the lights!

We bought some new decorations for our tree as the ones we had were not very good. Because we've got a bit more space this year, I wanted to make more of an effort. I only spent £12 including some lights, so not the end of the world. We will redecorate the tree this week.

I know we've got some up in the loft, but DH could only find one bag of baubles. They've never been used so I assume we bought them cheap at some point, but I don't like them so we will send them to charity. I ought to do that this week so someone can take advantage. I'm half wondering if I've put our big tree away fully decorated, and that's why DH can't find any more :rotfl:

I made a small pad of £1.08 this morning to the mortgage, I want to start doing that again. I will focus on the mortgage and just round down my account.

I cashed in £15 amazon from a survey site and immediately spent it on a gift for DH from the kids. I've made up and ordered a photobook for a relative (and got a second for us) using a discount code so saved a bit on that. I also got some photos of the kids printed as we put one in cards for relatives we don't see often and who aren't on FB.

I want to try and get everything finished this week so I can relax. I want to get the oven cleaned and do some tidying before Christmas so want to do that this weekend.

DH sold another load of items this weekend, so that has all been posted today. He has his last lot going out today and is selling a few more things. Hopefully they will pay quickly and then I will be on my ebay break :T :T

Yes we always have, even before the kids :rotfl: I like seeing the lights.

It makes me feel like I'm doing something doing the PADs, so hoping those tiny amounts will add up without making a big dent.

I've made a PAD of 65p today to the mortgage.

I've also booked after school club for the first week back after Christmas and will do the rest after payday. I've booked lunches up until half term, though we don't pay for these.

DH's listings have all ended so another 7 parcels posted this morning. One left to pay and my eBay break starts here :D

I won a family ticket to a local house and gardens at a raffle at a Christmas fayre we went to. I've received them now, it would have cost over £30 for us to go. I'm pleased about that as it's a lovely place but we'd never pay that to go in. So that will be a nice day out next year :T :T

My car is in the garage today as there is a recall on it. No cost to me thankfully :)

I did a load more Christmas shopping yesterday so the kids stockings are mostly sorted and nearly everything has been sorted for those that will need to be posted. I need to wait for things to arrive, and then will hopefully get everything wrapped and ready to go this weekend. It will be nice to have everything sorted and then relax.

I want to clean the oven this weekend and tidy the kids bedrooms.

Little jwil has his nativity this week, but I've got meetings so can't go to the afternoon one :( I will have to dash and hope I can make it to the evening one. DH and little miss will be there for the evening. I don't want to miss it!

It's been a busy week this week. My work kicked me out of the meeting so I could go to the nativity, I'm very grateful and little jwil was so pleased :D

I'm trying to get organised this weekend, get everything posted and on the way. The kids are making Christmas cards so they can go as well. I want to look through the presents, see what we've got and get them wrapped, and then see what we still need to get (if anything) and write the food shopping list.
