    It sounds like someone setup a monthly DD payment for £20 but didn't realise what they were doing

    Yeah, after they posted details of the letter I came to the same conclusion.

    No, you can pay £1 on the credit card, the rest in cash, and get full s75 protection. Read the rules again :)
