I requested a payment on 2/8 and had an email on 7/9 to say it had been processed by Opinionbar. Silverfairy, does it usually go fairly quickly into your account when processed?0
-
Thanks siverfairy. I'd forgotten that I'd requested this payment into a different account; checked and it had been there since 4th.
j.e.j - hope you manage to get paid soon.Positive steps every day:j0 -
I've got to say, opinionbar have always paid relatively quickly for me, usually 3-4 weeks. In fact, they made an error once and paid me a lower amount, added another £2 to my next payment as an apology!0

I requested payment about 3 August and it went into my bank account on 4 September, and they sent me an email to confirm this.
I've never had any problems with them and they always pay without any issues.June 16 Mortgage Amount £82,896.15
Official mortgage end date August 2027
Current rate 2.59% until August 20200 -
Having some issues myself with this company who have previously been prompt payers. Put in a request 02/07/13 and 6 weeks later (and counting) I haven't received a payment.
Emails to the company and the parent company in Holland are being ignored.0 -

Ditto Mullington, I put in a request for payment on 4th July 2013 and more than six weeks later there's still no sign of any payment. It's still showing up as 'pending' on my Opinion Bar account!!
Taking more than six weeks to pay out rewards is not acceptable, imo. Interesting that your emails are being ignored, too. I don't know whether I'll be using these guys again.
I just hope the money hasn't been lost somewhere.0 -
Came across this thread as am always interested in new survey sites that I'm not on already - is Opinion Bar good - ie what kind of reward do you get per survey?broad-sword wrote: »Sorry no experience of them, but always wary about giving bank details for these kind of things - I would stick to vouchers (it's still tax free)
Re: this quote though - not sure why people are still saying the earnings are tax free? They are not - you still need to declare the income, obviously if this is the only income you earn it is going to end up being under the tax limit but you still need to declare it. See this article from Martin which confirms not to forget about tax....http://www.moneysavingexpert.com/family/make-money-surveys Hate for anyone to be caught out thinking you don't need to delcare it!0 -
They pay £1 per survey, but they're few and far between. I get one survey every 2-4 weeks.
They pay in cash, but as you can see from above, they're not very reliable!
I wouldn't bother the taxman over £10 earnings in 6 months :rotfl:0 -
They are good in that if you don't qualify for a survey you get paid ~ 10p
They are bad in that surveys tend to be few and far between, the £10 pay-out takes a while to reach
Plus you can't amend your profile, so if you use them for a few years and things change you can't change your profile surveys
One to avoid0 -
Something else to bear in mind if you're thinking of using Opinion Bar, they say they process payments once a month, and it can take up to six weeks from that date for the payment to appear in your bank account. So presumably if you just missed that month's payment deadline, you could be waiting another calendar month PLUS another six weeks before you get paid.
Definitely one to avoid.0
