Watched, well done to the winning team on here. Not happy with the result though. I don't think the best person won. Not saying more though as I don't want to spoil the result for those that haven't watched yet

I am thoroughly disheartened...either of the other two would have been a deserving winner.


I firmly believe that the result was fixed...looking back I can see that the eventual winner was being pushed on the viewers ...I have felt this for some weeks,and after last night I am convinced.

I feel so sad...I have enjoyed Bake Off...and last nights technical challenge was a joy to watch!...but the result was just so wrong.

I agree too,said person should have been kicked off about 3 weeks ago when it all went wrong

A disappointing final - none of them really excelled at any of the challenges in my view. I can only assume the winner's cake tasted exceptional, because it didn't look better than the others! The technical challenge was just ridiculous, that wasn't a great episode altogether.

I thought the same at the time, but then I had to remind myself that that they are not actually professional bakers: they are people with busy lives who just happen to enjoy baking. Even so, I think previous year's finalists have set a higher standard, decoratively at least. It made me appreciate how genuinely humble Nadia is.

My OH predicted in week 1 who would win as he said that one baker was being set up to win. I have to agree with him now. Still enjoyed the series and shall now look forward to the Christmas specials!
