I enjoyed last night's show. I am glad that no one went home as they had all tried so hard. It must be awful to spend hours making something just for it all to go wrong in the last few minutes. I could never go on as I would be in tears the whole time - crying if something went right and crying if something went wrong! :rotfl:

Yes, I was glad too. I think it is only right when a contestant is missing.

I fancied something sweet whilst watching last night so polished off 5 chunky biscuits (=710 kcal ) between the first and second ad break :o

Good show though, with a cruel second challenge and dastardly showstopper: Kim-Joy is a decorative wizard. I think the right people went last night. Briony will be the next to go, and Jon seems to be slipping too :(

Loved it last night, I thought the show stopper really sorted then out, some were wow, others were poor, not that I could have done much better.

VfM4 fruit for you next week, ! :) no biscuits!

  • Great week this week!....I just LOVE sticky gingerbread (my Mum makes the BEST!)….and the showstopper was actually one I may just attempt...it would work well with our Christmas Spice Biscuits!

As soon as I heard Terry describe his showstopper, I just KNEW he was going t attempt too much - no way he could do all that in the allotted time!

No real surprise with those who went home....but I felt there were a couple of possibilities for star-baker this week..which shows the talent we have this year!

Very pleased to see Ruby doing so well! You go girl!

(and I have to also say that Kim Joy is unexpectedly good!...I can see a book deal/TV show coming her way!)

Sorry, only just realised I hadn't updated with who had left this week. Good luck to all of the people still remaining.

So sad Dan has gone as he has been great until now.

Next week is going to be interesting, vegan week. I can predict nightmares with aquafava :D

  • I'm looking forward to seeing that, too!

I enjoyed last night but there wasn't much I would have wanted to eat - some of those pies looked a bit indigestible. Briony's decoration was superb but the inside didn't appeal to me.
