Are you the same person as thesaint? Your style seems very similar. Here is what the link states:
    Pedant

    From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

    Jump to: navigation, search
A pedant, or pædant, is a person who is overly concerned with formalism and precision, or who makes a show of learning. The corresponding (obsolete) female noun is pedantess. The term comes from the French pédant (1566 in Darme & Hatzfeldster's Dictionnaire général de la langue français) or its source Italian pedante "teacher," schoolmaster, pedant. (Compare the Spanish pedante.).

Next time check the link before you put your foot in it.

Your link described the source as a wikipedia definition of pedantic (it did not suggest that the source would be a definition of pedant)

I've put the word "Pednatic" in bold. But then ...

    I'm just being a pedant :D :j

Or am I being pedantic .... according to the way your link is displayed, it's very difficult to be sure  :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:
    Warning ..... I'm a peri-menopausal axe-wielding maniac ;)

You made a mistake but I am not upset with you. Just get over it. I am sure we have better things to do.

You should put a lengh of bar in it and some coat hangers then put it in the bedroom. Tell the new tenants its a wardrobe.
On the internet you can be anything you want. It`s strange so many people choose to be rude and stupid.

Perhaps this is how the fridge got there...

The staff nurse of an A&E department calls in the next patient. He's badly cut and bruised and visibly shaken. she asks him what happened while she attends to his injuries.
"Well, I was minding my own business, when out of nowhere, this fridge landed on my head, I'm lucky to be alive!"
she bandages him up and calls in the next patient who walks in with cuts to his hands and a back injury. "what's happened to you?"
"Oh, I feel such a fool," says the man, "I've never trusted my dear wife and I get fits of jealousy even though she's completely innocent. I got home early this afternoon and burst through the door thinking i might catch her with another man but she was alone in the kitchen ironing her skirt ready for work. She shouted at me for being an idiot and ruining the door and i went into a fit of rage and ended up picking the fridge up and throwing it out of the window! I'm such an idiot, someone could have been killed! AND i've done my back in with the strain of it!"
The nurse tuts and gives him some pain killers and tells him to rest.
Finally a third man is wheeled in, he's broken both his legs and an arm and he's naked and covered in milk.
    "What happened to you!"
"well I was in this fridge....."

Just what I was thinking. Still, Bestyman shortened it well - Winstone took so long telling it, I thought we'd be getting commercial breaks. :D

Well, the fridge is still there. The enforcement officer who promised he'd look at the CCTV went on holiday for three days!!! He has this morning said he will sit through a weeks worth of CCTV to establish who dumped it there. I can't beleive this is a good use of council resource.

Anyway, I have tenants moving in this week, so if the council haven't moved it by Thursday, I will pay the council the money to get rid of it. I'll have to push it onto the public highway and write a note on saying, awayting collection by the council (they can't come for 2/3 weeks!). I'll then write and complain and try and claim my money back.

I know it seems petty but its the principle, its not fair that people can dump items/rubbish on other peoples property and no-one is held accountable. If this becomes a regular occurance I could be paying out hundreds every year to get someone elses rubbish moved.

I don't see why the taxpayer has to pay for it, either. If someone had thrown a brick through your window, would you have expected the council to pay to fix it? Sure, they should investigate and prosecute the offender, but they're not responsible for cleaning it up, IMO.

You are accountable, unless you pursue whoever put it there.
Well life is harsh, hug me don't reject me.
