Oh...ok polly.......thank you for your relevance lol......I hope I laugh as much on hoilday :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
Well, here's some more relevance from 9th July 2018:
On the second day of our holiday, a large group of, we were later told 55, German lads arrived. We were told they were on a tour after finishing college. Later, there was a fight between them around the pool and they were drinking in the pool after being told not to. They were very loud and boisterous, which you would expect from young lads enjoying themselves. Their behaviour got worse over the week and I was cornered by 3 of them in the lift. I don’t know what they were saying but they were in my face and laughing.
I hope you laugh too.
  • Well if they corner me in the lift polly, there best be more than 3 of them lol.........dont fret i'll enjoy

Peachy P............not sure you are up to grasping the situation..........At this moment in time I have no desire to read dribble........thanks but no thanks

Oh dear, how does throwing your toys out of the pram help? And there really is no need to be rude.

If I haven't grasped the situation it's because you haven't made it clear. What is incorrect about:

You booked a hotel which was advertised as a family hotel AT THE TIME YOU BOOKED

It has since been sold by other tour operators as a party resort

TC have now changed their advert to reflect this and have told you

Call the facts 'dribble' if you want, but from the 'dribble' you keep harping on about these are the facts.
Accept your past without regret, handle your present with confidence and face your future without fear
  • Facts we booked a family hotel
Fact they changed it 2 week ago.

    Fact we have booked Taxi-Airport-.

Fact We have freinds going at the same time.
Fact We are unable to rearrange.

Fact If your going to book it DONT THOMAS COOK IT.

Think I'll go and watch the paint dry.........must be better than reading continual drivel

Pedro, I am really sorry at the attitude you seem to be getting, there is no excuse for it and I do think you have a legitimate complaint. How did you book, at the travel agents office or online? If you sat in front of an agent and she sold this as a family resort when Airtours, which is part of TC, quite clearly describes it as lively, then you have every right to argue that you were mis-sold the holiday, if it was online and described as quiet then again I think you have every reason to object.

I accept everyone has the right to an opinion, I visited Bulgaria for work and would never step foot in the place again for any amount of money ( it is in my list of 'never again' destinations headed by Mexico) but you and millions of others do like it but it seems clear TC knew when they prepared the wording for the Airtours brochure/website, which will have been a year ago, that it probably was not the right choice for a 60-year-old and shouldn't have sold it as such.
  • Its water under the bridge Alan..........its about opinions at the end of the day and my opinion differs from many in this forum thank goodness.
To me TC should have offered an alternative hotel plain and simple.

Not to worry we will have a good time I'll pack my gum sheild, plasters and me dancing shoes.

Can't believe some of the comments on here. The 'herd instinct' seems to be alive and well!

I think in fairness to posters who have replied, the OP hasn't exactly been so sweet in his responses.
  • Ive just looked at the TC brochure. The exact wording from the hotel

"The Smartline Madara is a fantastic choice for an AI family and friends holiday in Bulgaria. Fuss free smartlines vibrent design, spacious rooms and hotel run kids club are just the start when it comes to this hotel. Enjoy the buffet restaraunt and AI bar as well as lots of sports activities and entertainment to keep you busy bith day and night (think this means 18-30 crowd throughout the day and night) "
