Westin try reading the original post correctly, you too PeachyP.

When the hotel was booked it was not described as "Popular with the youth group market, it can get lively here. Please Note Adult-only bookings will only be accepted if all adults in the party are a minimum of 18yrs. Year round, the atmosphere at this hotel can be very lively"

As I have said it was advertised as a family hotel..........thomas cook have changed their description possibly because of in resort complaints

Part of my My original post........

"it wasn't advetised as lively, neither did we book a lively holiday"

Not quite sure what pint you'r trying to make there.

When you booked it TC hadn't received any feedback that others had been selling it as a party resort, it has now come to their attention, they since have changed their description and have told you.

Sorry, but what part of your original post do I need to read again? Unless you missed out something about TC ignoring their crystal ball?

What exactly was the wording of TC's original description of the hotel ?

A verbatim copy would clarify this matter one way or the other.

For future consideration I would recommend TUI Gold hotels for our "less lively" generation - no kids, or over energetic teenagers etc., just the oldest swingers in town, like us !!!

Peachy P............not sure you are up to grasping the situation..........At this moment in time I have no desire to read dribble........thanks but no thanks

I'm not sure if you'll view my contribution as 'dribble' (I guess you might have meant 'drivel') but from the latest Tripadvisor review (1 week ago):
Well I read the reviews and saw it was a so called 18/30s hotel and tried to get Thomas cook to change our hotel. The choice they gave me was not ideal so we decided to risk it and go. Well I’m so glad we did as there was not one 18/30s group in site at the hotel it was all family’s with a range of aged children.
    As you say,
    ......No point in harping on
  • Thanks for your comment Polly although you appear to be saying all that already been said?.....You are correct I meant drivel

And yes...."no point in harping on"

Well, I actually included the relevant part of the review being discussed...which hadn't actually been posted before (although a link to it had) so not actually "saying all that already been said".
  • Oh...ok polly.......thank you for your relevance lol......I hope I laugh as much on hoilday :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
