Morning all. Today is indeed another day and I have to do things I don't really want to today and be nice to people who just take me for granted. Hey ho, I hope to have a pleasant evening with DH.
Have a great day everyone.Spend less now, work less later.0 -
hi all - i'm back, still grieving mum but really need to try and get some sort of normality/routine back to our lives, i seem to do the same jobs and never get to the nitty gritty anymore, so look forward to you all whipping me back into shape x
There are no rules for grieving - be gentle with yourself.
Have totally lost track of the date with the result that the birthday card to my brother in law is unposted. His birthday was yesterday.
I have sent a textDon't put it DOWN; put it AWAY"I would like more sisters, that the taking out of one, might not leave such stillness" Emily Dickinson

I!!!8217;m still around. I am stretched a little thin though and it is having repercussions. Today we have run out of straws, liquid soap and my deodorant (although I found one in my spa bag).
We are taking DS2 to look around at a youth club this morning.
1x wm done, bathroom cleaned and loo cleaned 2x (boys!)
Living room dysoned and sofa throws tidied0 -
Good to know Kelpie is doing so well.
Sending well-cat vibes to Cat-wookie.
Donna welcome back; do please be kind to yourself. As Valli says, there are no rules for grief, it's a different experience for each of us.
Major decluttering of the loft yesterday; winemaking stuff brought down for disposal; also culled the h-u-g-e jam jar stash, getting rid of the weird shaped ones that are hard to get the last scraping of jam out of. So half a tonne of glassware (loads of jam jars and 18 screw-top wine bottles) went to the bottle bank; and I shall have to put an extra pink bag out for the bin men on Tuesday, as we've got extra non-glass recycling to go. *FLING*
I then very stupidly did an hour's weed-removal in the front garden, and knocked myself pretty much into Wednesday week in the process. You'd think I'd have learnt to pace myself by now, but nooooo. :cool:If your dog thinks you're the best, don't seek a second opinion.;)0 -

Morning all. Hope sick child is on the mend Wishing. Sounds like quite a day!
I'm having a rare girlie day out with DD today, where we can speculate on why DS has postponed his wedding. So many things were already booked and paid for - give me strength.

Thank you Jazee, not a day is like to repeat anytime soon.
He's getting there, but his nappies are still particularly unpleasant.
Today's jobs:
Wash all the washing
Hang all wet washing up (inside, it's persisticating)
Put all dry washing away
Put the car seat back together (just waiting for the final 'wipe down' to dry properly before initiating battle with the covers)
Something of a deep cleaning nature in the kitchen - I felt so good last night having swept out the front yard and cleaned the window & window ledge. I need to keep the momentum up.
Usual gubbins of being a Mum!
Hope everyone else has a lovely day.Outstanding mortgage: £23,181 (December 19)
