  • Lol - I wasn't speaking to my OH either - I went to mum's for dinner last night and he'd left me his washing up to do!!!!

I told him I expect something nice this evening as a thank you.

Well I have caught the Xmas shopping bug today ... :o

I was good though because I got presents on 3 for 2 in Boots and Sainsburys. Then I got a Red House book catalgoue through the post and spent £33 :o

BUT, I have now finished my Xmas shopping for 7 people and 2 of those presents were free because of the 3for2 offers. Also ordered my MIL a smoothie maker from Boots last night because she really wants one and this was half price from £40 to £20 which I thought was a bargain.

I love Xmas shopping but feel really guilty spending the money. Don't know why coz I have set an affordable budget.

I know exactly what you mean. On monday my OH was at home all day, supposed to be doing stuff to get the house straight, put up new towel rail and sort out his boxes of computer stuff.

Cos I was at work all day, he was going to sort out tea.....

When got home, boxes not touched, towel rail still in the box and then he said what shall we have for tea??? I told him whatever he has got out the freezer will be fine. He told me he didnt get anything out of the freezer because he didnt have time.....

I told him i manage to work out what we have for tea and get out the stuff before i go to work. He said he isnt that clever hmmmmm

    Useless i tell you :p

exactly :p I often "doesnt think" "forgets" I might start forgetting and not thinking and see what happens. He takes it for granted that things get done magically. I am really on a rant :o I'll stop :p

Big sigh!*** OH been made redundant - again!. Third time in three years. Everytime I think i am getting back on my feet......

This is because of NOrthern Rock. Oh well, I am gutted for him, he is so devastated. I just know we will get through it cos we have been there, done that and got the t-shirt.. The good news is that his co have to go through 30 days consultation and then he has a three month notice period in his contract so we will be okay for christmas.....

I came home from work and we went the pub so I am a little squiffy right now!
