Olive - just get a letter of authorisation; that should do. You might want to get one of any other accounts. After the change in the Act Powers of Attorney are a pain in the posterior - or so my colleagues tell me.

Want really annoys me is (having read the act in the dim and distant past) is that a lot of people quote it not understanding that it is totally irrelevant in the circumstances! Grrr Moan over.

Too early to hear from Hypo yet I suppose.

    Morning lovelies,

I really shouldn't be here socialising as I've got tons to do today but since I'm here.... :p

Fingers crossed for the interview Hypno!

You'll be fine at Argos IA. (Are you excited??) They'll probably be begging you to come in every day by the end of your 5 hour shift!

My eldest worked p/t for Argos last christmas and he didn't find it too taxing at all, so hopefully you won't either.

He got heavily into drinking tea whilst working at Argos. He'd never drunk it before in his life but he said they had so many tea breaks he kind of got into it. (He said it was either that, or take up smoking - and at least the tea was free!)
Lucy... 11lbs is a sterling effort. I'm going to my first slimming club meeting next tuesday and I'm really hoping it's not going to be like Little Britain.

Meanwhile...we have good news and bad news.

The good news is that we 've been working through Martins Money Make over and in the course of that noticed that Powergen has us listed as being on one tariff, but is charging us for another one..

    ..and guess what?

They've been over charging like a pack of rhinos and they owe us almost £700 plus we don't have to make this month's payment either.

    WoooHOOOO!

And on the bad news side I've just broken a tooth I think...

    Have a good weekend everybody!

    Love Jacks xxx :D

    Thanks Jacks....

Your Slimming Class will be fine, mine is nothing like Little Britain thankfully and everyone was really supportive (although only about 5 people knew what I had done!)

I have a full moan about it on my 'Why do we do it' thread!

    Good afternoon all :)

Really glad weekend is on its way. This friday is much better than "pants friday" (last week).

The weather is quite nice over here. The is shining, its cold, so a proper Autumn day!

Tonight I might start making my pumpkin soup, I need to get some containers to put it though and freeze it.

I'm not speaking to my OH atm, he came to bed last night at 2am cos he was messing about with his new computer and we still have lots to do in our new house. Grrr men
