  • I have recieved mine. It doesn't have a minimum spend requirement. I would be interested to know if we all get the exact same code??

Mine is 14 digits long and contains 2 dashes, like this
    YDCN-*****I-***N

as its a gift certificate, I would expect it is an exclusive code .... and the 'congratulations' wording is probably the standard text for a gift certificate, just so happens that in this case you're receiving it from Auntie Customer Service Virgin.

I expect the delay in people receiving them is that Auntie is manually ordering the gift vouchers for all her nieces and nephews one by one.
  • Received voucher and my code is completely different.

Like a mug I went and used it on something I had my eye on. Very pleased to get it, now just received "your item is on Backorder" email  I have 3 items on order with virgin and all 3 have gone to backorder. Cannot see why, as this item had "Usually despatched within 1 to 2 days" What are they playing at. If it wasnt for the fact this was cheapest I had seen this item I would not of bothered. Typical

I've had my voucher - you get an email that says:

"Dear GYINNITCongratulations, you have received the following gift certificate(s):
    Code: XXXXXXXXXXXX, £5.00

    From: customer service virgin
    Message: Dr Who Good Will
    Kind Regards,

    Virgin Megastores Customer Service Team"
