Has anybody received the 2017/18 tax year income statement from the TSB Classic Plus account yet?

No. Bit of a pain like to complete tax return as quickly as possible.

I don't know of any mainstream current account that requires funds to be left in them for more than a nano second to fulfil minimum funding requirements.
As for salary, that's irrelevant as none require a salary either.

Hence my point. If the bank don't specify a length of time then there isn't one. It would be totally unsustainable to say how long a payment had to stay before it could be spent. My transfers are done within seconds.
Remember the saying: if it looks too good to be true it almost certainly is.

Well on my plus account`s T&C,the 2 DD and 20 debit card uses a month ended on 31st June 2018.

I just checked and I got my money for July. I only opened my account in February this year so I presume I will get that for a year.

Payments for direct debits an debit card use depends on when you opened the account. Those who opened in 2017 were to be paid up to June this year. Those who opened in 2018 were, I think, to be paid until December this year.

It can get a little confusing.

I got mine in July for June but (in my case) that`s it, no more.

You should be OK until Dec because you opened it AFTER 7th Jan 2018.

    Hi,

Can I ask why, given the well publicised IT problems experienced by thousands of customers, that we are happy to open accounts with the TSB? I believe some issues are still not resolved.

Sorry if it sounds a challenge - I'm just curious as I would personally avoid them at all costs given the problems they've had.

Because most people did not actually have any major problems during the IT "issues"?

Some people have major issues but most didnt and inertia retained them as customers.

You would also need to know - "who is next". Opening an account with another bank instead of TSB doesnt help if the next failure is with Lloyds, Barclays, HSBC etc and you opened an account with them instead.
