The monthly £5 reward for having 2 x Direct Debits and meeting other conditions such as minimum monthly £500 pay in ceases with effect 30th June 2018.

The interest rate is (has ?) been raised from 3% to 5% up to a maximum of £1500 held in the account.

That's £6.25 per month, or £75 annually, if my arithmetic is sound.

I know many TSB customers will be abandoning them after the IT debacle, however as it's not my main current account I'll likely hang around.

At least you can ditch or switch the DDs.

Only for accounts opened before 7th January this year. For accounts opened after this the cashback end date is 31st December.

My £5 monthly reward expired over a year ago but I never had to have any DD's with TSB. I just transferred the required £500 into the account. I am also keeping the account. I didn't suffer during the recent problems because it wasn't my main account either.

Well spotted, I was aware but omitted.

Had it been my main account I would have ditched it by now.

What annoys me about this is, I opened mine in December so get 6 months, if I waited two weeks I would have got 12 months worth. Oh well, such is life

Or on, as the case may be !!!

Had an issue with mobile banking using my iPad yesterday - the on screen message announced a new TSB app and to download it from the appropriate source.

Except that Apple app store didn't have it available, therefore, in effect, no mobile banking from TSB.

An online complaint from my laptop to TSB internet department and it was sorted by this morning - the existing app was flagged up for update and it worked fine.

How did you get a response to your complaint so quick? I logged mine on the 26th April and I have not heard a thing. Rang to chase today and she told me they had 8 weeks to resolve it. Waste of 48 minutes of my time!

Was your complain about access only, or something more ?

They've lost the plot at TSB.
