Wow! I thought it unlikely soneone would paint themselves in such a bad light. I didn't expect it would be someone who is supposed to love them and not betray their trust though.

Ignore the previous responses as they are based on a lie and not your wife's true point of view. If you've tried calmly talking to yiur wife at a quiet time where you can focus on the conversation and that hasn't helped then try again, try listening to her reasons, try counselling, try compromise. If you wanted to post for help then posting your side of the story and asking for advice on how to resolve things with your wife and family would have been the appropriate thing to do, not that hatchet job you did of her.

    Found it! :D

S/He posted on Mumsnet as Dad906, with the thread titled 'Family at War, newborn' on July 30 at 8.57. A quick search term might be 'groomsmen'.

FiL is described by the OP as fiery and MiL as opinionated in an argument, along with other revealing little clues.

I now believe that Kynthia's choice of term - hatchet job - is both apt and accurate, especially as OP says on several occasions that he[STRIKE] won't do anything to support his struggling wife[/STRIKE] prefers an easy, quiet life.

Outside help, OP, with wholehearted and genuine efforts to understand your wife's equally valid point of view, hopefully before she seeks out the local rottweiler solicitor! Good luck.
