Evening All. Apologies, I haven’t read any of today’s posts yet. I’m in a bit of a rush tonight.
Did the last shop of the month this evening. Popped into A$da on my way home from work and picked up some YS veg, a tub of mushrooms and more Yeo Valley yoghurts. The spend comes to £6.68.
I’m declaring at £119.31/£120. I don’t know exactly how it happened but the kitty still has £13.50 in it, despite me tracking everything and there being nothing leftover in July. I’m assuming DH didn’t take back money for something he purchased. Anyway, I’ll roll that money forward to next month.

£206/£155. This is £51.67 over our budget
So yes we did stay under £217 (£7/day) but blew the original £155 We budgeted. I'll be upping the budget per day for September.

I have been rubbish this month, it has been crazy with holidays and going away a lot.
I have not kept up to date with receipts but according to my spending app I have spent £637 in supermarkets.
This is WAY over my budget. However I do remember buying a few Christmas presents for the kids, several items of school uniform, and several Tupperware type sandwich and snack pots for packed lunches as trying to reduce the amount of food bags I use. Also in Asda I topped up my Christmas Savings Card.
So if I'd been more conscientious with my receipts I might be able to declare a lot less. On the plus, we went on holiday for a week and did all self-catering from a local Aldi apart from one meal, and I went to Alton towers and took my own food from Aldi. So I did try.
Will be much more organised in September. Off to that thread!Grocery Challenge Jul £380.75 Aug £637 Sep £539.82 Oct £53.43 / £475
EF 3-6 challenge #104 £739.25/£10000
MFW2018 #183 0/£20000
