Oh dear just spent £49!!!
Was on HotUkDeals reading the thread about people getting Sky+ for free and though heck lets try it so rang cancellations and threatened to leave, couldn't get a box for free but did get it for £49 which is £130 cheaper than going on there website to upgrade!
Will be good in time for Christmas though as my DVD recorder refuses to record Sky so no point having it! Plus spent £200 on it just over a year ago and haven't used it for months!!!Now a SAHM trying to earn some spare pennies each month0 -
Oh dear not being a very good girl this week
I feel really tired tonight and too much washing up to do so have just ordered a dominos pizza for dinner!
To slightly redeem myself i have used a 25% off code i searched for on hotukdeals (i will never pay full price for Dominos again after finding that site!) but still, its not helping my savings to get out of debt and also my ever increasing waistline!!!
Still comes to £16.28 though for me and OH! I also spent £3.80 on lunch today as couldn't be bothered with soup so i have spent about £20 today!
Positive things today to make me feel less guilty....
1) Got another quidco payment into my bank for £36.80 although obv i have spent most of this now....
2) Done all my clickthroughs on all the cashback sites i use.
I still have some money left in my savings though which is a miracle and will be posting off my £200 cheque to go into my hisave account on Friday which makes me feel a tad less guilty.
Oh heck who am i kidding i have been a bad girl so far this week. Tomorrow i promise i will become a good girl again :rotfl:Now a SAHM trying to earn some spare pennies each month0 -
I really need to update this everyday or two as have completely forgotten what the rest of my week has been like!
Right Wednesday night i went to the pub and spent £2.80 on a pint of Cider.
Thursday i went to Bingo, had a free session voucher though and friends mum brought me a drink so only spent £1.50 on the national game.
Friday night i spent £20 on online bingo as was sitting here drinking vodka and red bulls and kept playing another £5 as was having fun in the chatroom :rotfl:
But i won £36 after playing for 3 hours, played the £6 and withdrew the £30 so made a tenner in my drunken state!
So NSD technically Friday! I was gonna get a takeaway but kept drinking more and more and by the time i was really hungry it was shut so ate a Chicago Town microwave pizza instead. Didn't taste half as good as the chinese would have though!
Yesterday i spent £11 on a meal for me and OH @ Toby Carvery, £1 tip and gave £5 petrol money to OH.
Today i have spent £37 as brought a Terramundi for the Sealed Pot Challenge and a gorgeous 1st year photo frame for my brother and SIL to put pictures of my neice in for christmas which i didn't plan on buying either but eBay is evil! LOL!
So in total since Wednesday i have spent nearly £60.
I got paid Friday luckily but my pension deductions started this month so i now get £37.50 less a month so need to update my SOA which will do in a bit.
I thought i only had to pay £30 though so need to double check that.....Now a SAHM trying to earn some spare pennies each month0 -
Argh hate Mondays, always feel stressed when i get in from work for some reason.
Work wasn't even busy today but took me an hour to get home when would normally only take 20 mins so that stressed me out a bit.
Currently sitting here drinking wine to take the edge off.....
Anyway was kinda good today, took lunch to work and hadn't planned to spend anything but its late and i can't be arsed to cook as didn't get in until 7pm but not getting takeaway, went to shop and brought a pizza each for me and OH @ £1.39 each as reduced so happy with that.
Also spent £2.40 on magazines for lunchtime reading this week but i justified it as it means i won't go shop at lunchtime and be tempted to ignore my packed lunch and buy something there.
Also brought OH baccy and rizlas but will get money back from them! He finally gets paid this week after 3 weeks of living off me!!!
Can't wait, he owes me loads, gonna get £800 back on Friday but sadly have to pay my nan back £300 as borrowed my loan payment off her as he hasn't been paid for 3 weeks due to starting new job.
Gonna put every spare penny i can into my new Esaver account.
So towards Moozies challenge (which i have started this week for the first time) i am putting my £2.40 for magazines, not counting pizzas as thats dinner and getting the baccy/rizla money back from OH.
Also starting the sealed pot challenge on 01/12/2007, should be fun counting it next year!
Oh and i ended up spending another £13.90 yesterday on a coin sorter for when the sealed pot challenge ends! Oh well did it through topcashback so getting £1.39 back!
Right off to eat pizza!!!Now a SAHM trying to earn some spare pennies each month0 -
I could do with updating my SOA as my salary has changed slightly due to my pension contributions starting though my work have overcharged me so i need to speak to them about it!
On my information for the pension it says i should pay £29.25 a month and my employer should pay £37.50 as that includes a tax they have to pay but they have taken £37.50 from me! So gonna go speak to my MD one day this week and sort that out, thats £8.25 a month that should be mine!
So once thats clarified i will update my SOA!
Anyway paid off another loan payment on 28th November so loan now stands at £3291.20. Good feeling that after next months payment it will be under £3k!
Another good thing about next months loan payment is that i have £155 coming in from my OH's quidco account so that covers over half the loan payment so will only have to pay half next month :j
But OH's MOT is due at end of december and its gonna fail so i will probably have to pay for that on my credit card and he will have to pay me back
Its good he has no credit cards/loans but still a pain for me sometimes!
He got paid on Friday though from his new job, he had to give me £800 though and now hes skint again as he didn't work a full month, hes still not skint enough to buy xbox games though...
Anyway back to the positives, i have joined a good music rating site from the up your income board (cheers maria) so earning from that and started the sealed pot challenge yesterday.
Am also doing the earn £10 a day in December challenge too although failed in November (need to add up my final total though!) so hoping i manage it this monthNow a SAHM trying to earn some spare pennies each month0 -

How do you know the MOT will fail?Make £5 a day JAN £121/175 FEB £283/175:jWeekly Grocery budget of £35! Jan £95.05/175 Feb £37.53/1750 -
Well its only a K Reg Polo that he brought for £80 in July off a mate and it failed its MOT last year on a leaky petrol tank and the problem is still there so obviously they bodged it to get it through.... we only put a fiver of fuel in as don't wanna waste any, it doesn't leak badly but not gonna pass the MOT.
Also its had a red warning light on since we got it, think it needs new brake something or other.
Other than that its a good little car for its age, starts first time everytime even in this cold weather.
Yeah i stopped the scouting after an hour today, too much hip hop rubbish tonight! :rolleyes:Now a SAHM trying to earn some spare pennies each month0 -

Been fairly good with money this week.
Got £5.74 paid in from Quidco and £37.02 from Greasypalm so put that into my esaver account for my saving for a house deposit fund which now holds £252.95.
Gonna be a big house :rotfl:
The £154 i got back from my OH's Quidco account into my other bank account which i had planned to use as half of next months loan payment is probably going to have to be spent though as i need to pay OH's speeding fine which he got the other month so thats £60 gone (he will pay me back) and i decided to use £10 of it on online bingo other night too so will have £84 left but its my Nan's birthday tomorrow so need to buy her something today and my main bank account is looking low....
Had to go dentist on Thursday so that was £15.90,luckily all clear so have to go back in 6 months but i am starting orthodontist treatment next year so will have to go back before then for extractions....more on that another time though.
Had Tesco come Monday and spent about £64 although OH owes me £20 for beer.
Spent £13.50 in Iceland last night and £3 on a kebab for teaOoops.
Haven't been out with mates at all this week so no spending there.
I spoke to work about my pension, they will credit what they took wrong this payday so will be getting my £8.75 back next payday which is in 2 weeks due to christmas. :T
Oh and i paid off £100 on my credit card the other day so my total debt at this moment in time is £3669.80. Can't wait until the day its all gone!
On non related money stuff its tipping it down and i need to go to town but i really don't want too because of the weather :rolleyes:Now a SAHM trying to earn some spare pennies each month0
