  • my pleasure lilmissmup...

...er if pleasure is the right word to be associated with paying council tax

anyway chuck best of luck with your endeavours, I'm sure you'll get there in the end...;)

ps. you can always have goldfish as a pet, no insurance needed there and they are cheap to run, just a few crumbs of whatever it is they eat and you don't have to take them for a walk and throw sticks and stuff....unless they insist of course :)

Have had another NSD today and yesterday so since Sunday i have spent a grand 0p!

Luckily i get lifts back too and from work and don't drive (though not through lack of trying and failing my test 3 times!) and have taken lunch every day.

Have been good and cooked all week (my main vice, being lazy and ordering a takeaway) and haven't been out all week either....getting addicted to this non spending more than i ever did spending! :j

My ebay items end today too, a few have already and a few more to go, looking to make about £50-£60 on there at moment so that can go towards my credit card bill this month.

OH started new job yesterday and isn't getting paid until 30th November,he has always had weekly pay until now so going for 3 weeks without getting paid is gonna be hard....especially for him as he smokes and likes a beer in the evening!

Sounds like your doing really well with the no spending!:T
Your so luckly you get lifts to work must svae you a fortune!

Glasto i couldn't be without my kitties! Even when they do wake me up at 3am for food! :p

Also i have had to make a claim for one of them that come to over £2250!!!! (My 3 month old kitten broke his leg on what would be his ankle so had to go to a specialist vet for treatment!)

So well worth it in my opinion as i only had to pay £75!

Yesterday i spent £43.51 @ Tesco but OH is giving me £16 back for his beer i brought.

He went out last night so i got a chinese....only £5.60 though so total spend for yesterday was £49.11.

Today i had to post of 7 eBay items that have sold costing me £9.48 and also had to pay my eBay fees for last 2 months at £10.14. so have spent £19.62.

Made £59.43 on ebay though this week and made £14.75 on postage and have had to spend £9.48 plus £3.73 pay pal fees so made an extra £1.54 on postage so a grand total of £60.97 :j

Got 1 more item to be paid for so might make another 20p on postage, have counted item amount in above.

Not gonna do anything for rest of day that involves spending money, need to tidy house!

    Hello!

Been a good and bad debt week!

    Monday i didn't spend anything.

Tuesday i spent £30! Was my OH's little brothers 16th Birthday so gave him £20 and lent my OH a tenner, getting £20 back at end of month though.

Wednesday was the Boots shopping evening and i had the best moneysaving deal i have had so far! I had £100 worth of Boots vouchers from Pigsback to spend and for every £50 you spent they were giving 1000 advantage card parts back (worth a tenner!) so because of this i got christmas presents (mix and match, 3 for 2) for 13 people plus wrapping paper and spent only £0.38p as had to make it to over £100 by buying some aspirin! :j:j:j

Also i got £20 worth of advantage card points back so actually made £19.62 for buying presents!!! :D:D:D:D:D

Now only got about another 5 people to buy for and all sorted and looking to get another few vouchers from pigsback before xmas so might be a free xmas! :T

Found this deal on hotdealsuk and best find ever in my opinion!

Was late by time i got in though so spent £7ish on fish and chips

Oh and also brought 2 mags for £1.75 at lunchtime but it was my fdirst time in 2 weeks.

Yesterday i went to pub and spent £2.10 on a pint of coke but thats it.

Today i am feeling very full of cold so am off work, been battling with it all week but today i feel terrible :( At least it means i won't be spending any money this weekend though as doubt will leave the house!

Only have £28.50 to last me until next Friday when i get paid and need to buy food so thats all gonna be spent @ Tesco i think.

Luckily i get to go to bingo next week for free as have a free drinks voucher and a free game voucher so at least i won't be stuck indoors until next Friday!

Still full of the stinking cold so can't go to Tesco today to spend my last £20!

Instead i am planning on getting through to Friday without buying any food.

I still have 4 tins of beans (OH loves beans, has them with every blimin meal!), a bag of potatoes, 2 tins of value potatoes, loadsa sweetcorn, some soup for lunch next week and pasta and stuff in freezer to get us through.

I can then put that £20 in savings!

I applied for the HiSave account advertised on the front page the other day, just gotta send off my deposit cheque off to them and then thats open. Gonna intially put £200 in.

Right off to do some more nose blowing!

EDIT: Was naughty yesterday and spent £4.50 on chinese.... oh well it tasted good :P

Right had a change of mind when it comes to Tesco and have a delivery coming tomorrow night now.

Went online to check offers and lot of the offers i have had for last few weeks run out in a few days so stocked up on some freezer bits and also kindly brought OH 52 cans of Carlsberg for £20 as that offer runs out Tuesday and he doesn't get paid from his new job for 2 weeks still and hes skint. Will get that £20 back when he gets paid though. They should last him a good few weeks too.

Spent about £40 on food but used a 500 extra points code from one of the tesco threads on here and used up the extra 275 point vouchers i got with my last mailing too so will have about 1250 clubcard points tomorrow night to go in my holiday fund for next summer :)

Had a no spend weekend though as haven't left house since Thursday.

Aiming for a no spend week apart from Tescos and Bingo one night.
