Brexit the economy and house prices part 6

I'm ignoring nothing, just curious about the logic of it being fair game to slag the EU whilst living in it being Ok but slagging the UK whilst living in it is not.
Which I guess is the same sort of logic that dictates that the UK is somehow a perfect size of a nation state - the EU is too big and Scotland too small.
I don't think the EU wants citizens to forget their identity, not that they ever could anyway.0 -

doubt that's the issue here. in my country all the cultural and heritage ventures are part-funded or fully funded by EU, so I find it hard to believe there's some great conspiracy of killing people's identities abound0 -
I didn't say Gallileo was any better. Just that our £5bn estimate is going to be closer to £20bn than £5bn by the time we finish.
It's easy to see open goals when you make them up
We actually have a ready made backup solution for satnav, developed right here in Blighty.
Fully road tested; you can see a video of it right here :

I am on a pre Brexit, goodbye to Britain visit this week.
I came by car today via a ferry Calais to Dover.
Everything looks good. There will be no Brexit dividend for Britain.0 -

The calm before house demand explodes, all these people sitting tight waiting for `what if`. Scared
Good job the parents and grandparents didn`t dither, they gave us choices0 -
Says the chap who never fails to make disparaging comments about the EU while living in Greece.
The difference you see is that cogito is a UK and an EU citizen.
Herzlos is not a UK citizen but is an EU citizen.
Basically it's what many of us probably already thought, this being an open forum with no proof of nationality or indeed pretty much anything else needed before you post.
The forum is being trolled by users from other countries who have no stake in the wellbeing of British people.0 -
The EU isn't a country and is fair game for criticism.
What's the opposite of an inferiority complex?0 -

Some projects receive EU funding (this is where Galileo enters the equation) and so there might be areas where the UK could see participation stop. But conversely this could also lead to the cessation of UK funding for some areas.
From my readings it looks like (apart from Galileo where even this might end up being a boost to the UK if the UK/Oz/NZ do go ahead & build their own) one area where Brexit will have little to no impact. In fact some, like Skyrora and Reaction Engines, are already revolutionising their sectors and have great potential for impressive future growth.0 -
