Just had a notification in the app to say the Halifax Reward account is cutting the monthly payment from £3 to £2 from 1st October.

Yup. Got that too. Not sure I can be bothered maintaining the money merry go round for that. Will line it up as being the next switch donor account, should one come around.0

Yes got that......used to make a nice 25 pounds a month doing the money go round
Maybe won5 bother so much now0 -
Well that's a pile of proverbial.
Reward? Hmm.0 -
You wouldn't mind, but if they structured the payment correctly, they wouldn't have to deduct income tax at source. Barclays made the change, why can't Halifax?0

I wouldn't bother opening an account for £2pm, but as its already open its not really any bother to maintain itI consider myself to be a male feminist. Is that allowed?0

I'll probably stay with them for the cashback and the cheque imaging. When Barclays roll out the cheque imaging I'll probably switch to them.0

Agreed. Although for anyone using DD's that actually cost them money the nominal gain from the £3 reward will be eliminated."In the future, everyone will be rich for 15 minutes"0 -
Funny how Wednesday has become the day to offload bad news by banks. Something to do with the weekly MSE email, I wonder...
As with others I'll leave it doing what it's doing.0 -
Just saw the message in the app.
Might as well cancel the payment altogether and take 'Reward' off the account name.0 -
UGH
I've just arranged to switch BoS (03) to my Halifax Reward to regain the £3pm lost in April. Couldn't be bothered scrabbling around for another 2 DDs then, and have since decided I didn't need so much headroom @ 1.5%
Oh well, I won't think twice about switching away if another incentive appears. Also trying to reduce number of my accounts following acting as Executor for a relatively simple estate:o0
