hi pal i think ive seen better than that as ive been looking lately at buying because we're going next year, let me know your best offer i might be able to do a deal with you and offer you a bit more pounds and in return i'd get more dollars for my pounds!;)0 -
I expect the pound to get better against the dollar as we go through the start of 2009. However, I've just spent £900 worth even so, because I don't expect it to improve much to effect this amount. But I would act differently if buying a house. I would delay by 3 months or more.
But that's the dollar. I expect the Euro to end up stronger than the pound eventually.
The other possibility is that everything goes mental worthwide and worrying about such details would be the least of worries.Order of events: Banks lose our money -> get bailed out -> were inflating GBP to cover it -> now taxing us -> next will grab your funds direct -> things get really desperate to balance the books. What should have happened?: banks go bust and we lost our money much quicker0 -
Hi guys
Going to the US end of June '09. TMS are currently doing exchange rate at 1.494 for delivery in March - June '09... should I bite the bullet and exchange £1000 up now, or wait????? Also, anybody know how reliable TMS would be in this economic downturn, and if paid on CC would I get money back if TMS went belly up?
Thanks in advance!!!
Edited to say, Crown are doing for 1.492 so guessing they are of a similar business? Which is best, Crown or TMS?0 -
