Biggs (http://www.biggs.com/home.do)
They have a huge range of beer and about 4000 different wines!
Leffe - $8.99 for 6 bottles.
They don't have a Biggs near meGood stores that you may have near you are Big Lots (household stuff, shampoo etc), Trader Joe's (organic, fresh and funky foodstuffs), Fresh & Easy (a bit like Asda but nicer), Best Buy (great deals on all electronics). There is a good phone plan out there too by Metro PCS which for $50 a month gives you unlimited calls and texts, web and email access, and unlimited international texts.

Never give up hope! For the past five years I kept resigning myself to the fact my US dream would never happen.
And a friend of mine applied with his company to work in their New York office for a year and he's just been accepted. He genuinely thought they'd turn him down because they rely on him so much in London.
Anything's possible... speaking of which the pound will get to 1.60 very soon, am positive :j0 -

In the words of Gabrielle... dreams can come true (what a terrible song). Yes, west coast all the way baby.
Enjoy the birdies and bogeys. The rate will be at 1.48 when you check again0 -

08:00 27Apr09 Cable: Early session losses across the Gbp board
07:00 GMT - Despite talk of fairly large positive flows to come, possibly at the
10GMT fix, via corporate dividend payments [CABLE] has been an early
European session faller. Gbp losses have been made across the board, with
CTA and systems led selling going through, we are told. Not much on the
news front apart from another negative Hometrack HPI in Apr with -0.3% m/m
and -10.1% y/y numbers. Ongoing UK growth and debt concerns, however, as
well as broader market negative sentiment (Dow Futures -141), has provided
the excuse to sell Pounds. Low so far is 1.4531. Bidding interests
touted into 1.4500/20, but stops on a move through the figure. Next
pivots come at 1.4440/45 and 1.4395/00.Please take the time to have a look around my Daughter's website www.daisypalmertrust.co.uk
(MSE Andrea says ok!)0
