This is a silly question (be gentle ;)) but how do we know it's safe - I know I sound way paramoid but it's just a lot of money and I reaaaallly cannot afford to loose it!!!! :o

Does anyone know what kind of insurnace I can get?
My travel insurance has a general exclusion of "Bankruptcy/liquidation of any tour operator, travel agent or transportation company" But mentions nothing about currency?!
no one knows if its safe,
i've ordered some of mine from there, they are due to arrive on thursday.
with regards to a company that insures that amout of money, i don't know. sorry

    Hi

I need to buy my currency on 1st May 2009. You guys are much cleverer than me about this. What rate do you think it'll be then? Unfortunately I can't buy now as thats when I get paid.

  • I would not be comfortable in paying CCE over £6k and waiting around 8 weeks for my currency.

Quite frankly im not comfortable with the whole thing TMS and CCE (who are of the same parent compnay BTW) do in taking your money upfront and holding onto it for week before you get your currency. Im not saying these guys are not good companies but they are most definately not for me.

If we knew the answer there buddy im retty sure none of would be watching here.

This week there was some uninspiring figures due hence why the rate is falling but if you get over 1.40 you'll be doing ok.

I guess the current falls we're seeing is in readiness for the news before it comes out. I know the interest rate cuts we've recently seen coincided with the falls in currency before-hand.

I'm sure this week will be a bad week with the budget due. I'm waiting to see how AD (squirms) puts his spin on his borrowing figures. I'm hoping the £ picks up next week.

    Thanks
