Yes it is. Personally I think this is caused by 'deadcat-gate'

Let us analyse the current position.

Over the past few weeks IM and his chum Neil have been chatting a fair bit and been regularly winding up members on other threads on these boards. These wind ups have taken various forms, but usually they are very obvious and fairly harmless.

Then we have the issue on this thread. Neil claims his cat died and posted in a very heartfelt and eloquent manner about his feelings towards said cat. This posting was either a very upset man posting about his beloved cat or a truly excellent (or sick - depending on your point of view) wind up.

IM believes its a wind up, which on past evidence of Neils behaviour, it very possibly could be. Others believe it to be true.

Neil then came on and fired a volley at IM for mocking him. IM still not having any of it, sticking to his wind up belief.

So. What we have here is either a great wind up, or Neil being bitten by the 'boy who cried wolf' scenario. No-one other than Neil really knows at the moment.

Thus the thread is refusing to talk about anything really, never mind the elephant in the room until this matter is cleared up.

If IM apologises to Neil then all would be well, unless Neil was on the wind up all along, in which case he wins and IM bites the pillow.

    Oh so tense......
