[12:00 GBP/USD: Recovery Rally Runs into Resistance at 1.4210] London, March 30.
Cable has met a headwind at 1.4210 after pushing its recovery envelope from a
European morning 12-day low of 1.4110. Upper resistance levels include 1.4268
(Friday"s low), 1.4300 and 1.4337 (today"s early Asian session top). GBP/USD
scaled a six-week peak of 1.4780 last Tuesday (post-UK inflation data).
The Nationwide says it expects to receive about GBP 1.6bn cash from the
British government as part of its deal to take over the healthiest parts of
