i think it will be good if it stays on this for the day, then can keep pushing again 2moz. i turned my laptop on last night and saw the jump after it had happened. from 1.39 to 1.42, i just about choked on my beer. who'd have thought we would get this excited at the thought of 1.43.

Listening to the news in the car just now, they said the $ is 1.33 !!
They don't check their facts do they? or have I missed something. OK I know they probably mean tourist rates, but even so they are about 1.37 at the moment.

this was probably the tourist rate at about 5pm last night.
the spurt started about 5.30pm.

it's only news, it can't be expected to be up to date!

LOL, I waiting for the news that the gov have decided to let all first time buyers have a 95% mortgage at 4% but will prob. see a pig fly over my house before that happens! Even with us offering to stand as guarantors for our daughter and SIL its not possible grrrrrrrr.
sorry folks off topic, I will think of a song to express my "concern" about the situation if you like!
