How long is a piece of string?

Sorry, no one can tell you what will happen to the exchange rate.

Although the pound has weakened dramatically against the euro, being dragged down by our US associations, it has also weakened slightly against the dollar (was well over £1=$2, now in the $1.90's). If it was me I'd buy now as I can't see it strengthening further against the US currency.

I'd buy now. I was gonna wait but being the dollar is creeping up a little (I've been watching it) I bought some the other for our trip in May.

Depends on if you think the loss of interest on the money is going to be outweighed by the drop in value of the £ against the $

Also take into account the cost of buying $ cash in the UK as opposed to gettting it out of an ATM in the US

hi i need to change some £'s to $'s. i dont really have the time to go to a post office so need to do it online and get it sent to me. i cant use the post office site either due to them not excepting my card.

can anyone recommend a trustworthy exchange with good rates to the $ that will post out?

M&S will post out - free if you buy more than £500 worth. Bear in mind you will have to be at home to sign for it.

Whether they will take your card either is another question...
