He's either on the wind up or off his rocker.

He's definitely something that rhymes with his handle...

    And I don't mean trucker...

As part of the labour charge, it's how the garage I now use works.

So you want them to mark up the labour, instead of the parts.
Got it. Strange distinction to make.

OK, so the second paragraph is mainly hyperbole for effect, but it still doesn't alter the fact that if the car you are a rear seat passenger in has to make an emergency stop, through no fault of their own (say a child runs out in front of them), then you are going to seriously injure or even kill them (and yourself) if you aren't wearing a seat belt.

And that risk is between me and the person in the front of the car. Nobody else has anything to do with it.

Talking pigs :rotfl: what are you smoking?

We'll be having typing trolls next.

Why do you not return to one of the 4/5 garages who fit your own parts, was there another problem at the garages?

They even taught the traffic pigs to talk, they don't speak any sense, but they can make words.

Because the garage I used to go to closed when the owner retired. I was looking for a new one and was horrified to find so many cowboy outfits.

It sounds as if the OP is only able to use a garage once then needs to find another one when they want any further work doing.

    I wonder why?

What a stupid assumption to make. There are plenty reasons to use more than one garage. Who can book me in quickest, who hasn't closed due to rerirement, who's closest to my house, etc.

My god you're witty. It took my schoolchums 5 minutes to think of that.

No, I want them to charge the correct amount for labour to pay the mechanics and all their other costs. Adding money to something they've bought is absurd, all they did was pick up the phone. I was once charged £160 for a part which Eurocarparts sells for £50. That is a criminal level of markup.

Except UK enacted law - so you can't even blame the EU for this one.

You don't think of anyone but your own self. You are one horrid individual with no consideration for anyone.

Same brand, or a Chinese cheap import? If not same brand, apples and oranges are being compared.

You're probably the kind of person that comes in to a cafe with your own food and drink, buying nothing and then uses the toilet, stuffs it full of toilet paper blocking the toilet and then describes it as someone else's problem.

I take it you don't own any branded goods?

Oh hold on you claim to have a car, do you think they sell them at cost price?
