Are there are any other ways sex discrimination still applies that I've overlooked?

I dont see why every job men and women should always be paid the same...were not the same.
I know men that would love to bring life into the world...they tell anyone that listens that they relate to themselves as a woman, yet they are notably not.
Why dont we just accept who we are and just get on with life..other wise im going to work next week in a mini skirt with heavy make up and relate to being a hairy lesbian...and will bring the house down (well corporate security reception) if anyone dare complain.0 -

Men tend to "get it in the neck" more on the personal relationships front from what I can see - roll on the male Pill.

Read the papers for a start, an obvious one on the front pages recently is abortion rights for Northern Irish women.0 -

That is sex discrimination all right. Northern Irish men can't have abortions at all!(AKA HRH_MUngo)

Imagine someone holding forth on biology whose only knowledge of the subject is the Book of British Birds, and you have a rough idea of what it feels like to read Richard Dawkins on theology: Terry Eagleton0 -

Assumptions assumptions:rotfl:
I was a civil servant - so both sexes are (were at that time anyway) the same = 60. No discrimination either way there.:D0 -

I've also worked for the civil service, and I don't recall any scheme which allowed males to claim their state retirement pension early. Surely SRP has always been decided by gender/age, nothing to do with who your employer was?
If you could live one day of your life over again, which day would you choose?0 -
I'm referring to the Civil Service pension - which is the same age for both sexes/has been for "goodness knows how long".
I believe the State Pension age for both sexes most probably has equalised by now - I was caught by mine being upped noticeably and had to live on the Civil Service pension only for some time on retirement (ie before the rest of my pension turned up).
Afaik I know I am now having an exactly equal life/income in all respects to an equivalent man (ie same age) - now that I'm old enough I no longer have to pay out "medical" expenses women (but not men) have during their fertile years (£25 per week on relevant weeks that a female MP said recently for dealing with physical issues only women have - ie the "period poverty" she was giving a talk about).0
