    Good evening everyone :hello:
Just popping on to say thank you to all of you for your support and understanding, it has really helped me keep on the straight and narrow.

Poppy, I am so sorry to hear your news. I think you are right to hold off from moving until you have recovered. I'm glad to hear that you have good friends and neighbours around, don't be afraid to ask for help if you need to and we are all here for you as well.

Floss, I thought about asking one of the kids to be in charge of portioning up meals but I think the power would go to their heads :rotfl:. I am sure I can manage to sort out a reasonable portion for myself and I have swapped to smaller plates and bowls for my meals as well.

Gers, I am so glad to hear your mum is feeling better, I think you are very brave to consider moving back if necessary. I would not be held responsible for my actions if I had to spend time under my parent's roof .
AOD, I take it it was a certain green colour you were looking for. I have also had the strange experience of going out to buy one ball of yarn and finding a lot more of its little friends have jumped into my basket :D. My dream if I win the lottery will be to have a whole room with floor to ceiling racks of yarn for me to play with.

Well, my tummy is full of sausage casserole and that is the end of my eating for today. It was very tasty and the kids even ate it without complaining....much....about the vegetables. Steve had 2 bowls full so maybe he will have to work on his portion control too :).

Hope you all have a lovely evening, take care xx

Dumpling I used to have what my friends called AoD's wool room. Now I just have a stash that fills 5 or 6 large boxes. I was quite restrained today, I only got 7 balls. Actually that really is very restrained, for me.

Poppy I did mean to say but forgot, I think you are right to put a major move on hold, that might be something to look forward to when all this stress is lessened.

It is raining! Not heavily but it is quite wetting rain, not just three spots that evaporate instantly.

OH is cooking, to accompany chicken and chips and salad, he has bought a special loaf, walnut and fig. I like both of those things. I don't usually have many chips and more often than not hand over the meat to my hollow son but I love decent bread. Yesterday though, he brought tomato bread. I don't like tomatoey things.
I was jumping to conclusions and one of them jumped back

Poppy Just popping in to wish you well and to say I'm so sorry that you have to go through cancer treatment again. Perhaps putting your move on the back burner will give you something to look forward to. You have my love and virtual support.

We have rain too :j:j only about 10 mins worth, but we may have more later. Our delivery arrived right after I posted this morning and the sheets have been moved from the large patio to the smaller one and covered over. Don't know why they had to be covered as they will be up on the shed soon ( I hope) and open to the elements !

Dumpling sending you low calorie and sin free hugs :D
Failure is simply the opportunity to begin again, but this time more intelligently
