The thread to read is the newbies faq thread near the top of the forum

Once your appeal has been rejected (inevitably as explained in tne thread) then you are left with the debt collectors stage as further appeal to ias are futile (all explained in the FAQ)

Ignore everything except a lbcca or court correspondence (see faq!)

They have 6 years to take legal action against you

    Good afternoon people,

I've read this forum and I've sent a template appeal letter to UK CPM. I have just received a letter explaining that my appeal has been unsuccessful and I have to pay a full fee of £100.

What is the best course of action now? I'm happy to send a letter as attachment to anyone if they provide email, of course all personal information will be blacked out.

    Thanks for your help,

    Daniel

UKCPM are scammers and of course they will reject.
They belong to the great Gladstones scam who set
up the IPC / IAS which is a major scam in the UK.
Not worth appealing to another scammer

Next stage once ignored, are stupid debt collector
letters full of lies and rubbish so best read up on
    this stage

So, you ignore all this rubbish and wait ..... see what UKCPM
    DO

Have a read what happened to UKPCM recently.
The court ripped into the claim and their dodgy
    solicitor were whooped yet again

Why do people think there is a next step after the first appeal, which is just a single dispute exercise and is NOT designed to *work* v IPC firms.

...the only worthwhile action apart from ignoring the scammers*, is to complain to the landowner, same as all the other IPC cases.

*unless you get a court claim, but again, that's fully covered in the NEWBIES thread too.
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
CLICK at the top or bottom of any page where it says:
Home»Motoring»Parking Tickets Fines & Parking - read the NEWBIES THREAD
  • Note: I was not able to include links or images of my letters - could anyone assist me with this?

    Good afternoon everyone,

Thanks for your replies - I'm sorry I didn't read the NEWBIES thread enough prior to posting this thread. Let this be my lesson learnt.

I just want clarification on the stage I am at, while NEWBIES thread is informative but it is confusing and difficult to read. I believe I am still at ignoring the debt collector stage however I'm not sure what does LBC look like. I've had two other people reading this in attempt to come to a same conclusion as myself but they were confused too.

This is the first letter I've received from debt collector - which I've ignored:
    [LINK TO AN IMAGE]

I then received this letter from debt collector:
    [LINK TO AN IMAGE]

Note in second letter it says "Notice of intended court action" - I'm guessing this isn't an LBC letter?

If not then I know I should ignore it until I receive LBC, then begin my Subject Access Request (SAR).

Thanks in advance for your understanding, patience and your assistance.

A proper LBA/LBC/LBCC will give you 30 days to respond and will include forms, which you should never complete.

It's NOT a LBC not with the word intended.
This is just debt collector trash who don't have the power to make such threats.

A real LBC must give you proof of their claim and 30 days to rebut it.

You can SAR whenever you wish

Which I should never complete? I thought I must reply to LBC?

You send a rebuttal but you do not fill in the forms that the PPC sends to you. Search the forum for LBC rebuttal to give you some idea of what you need to do. However, if, as Beamerguy states (and I hinted at) you don't have a LBC.

    Good afternoon everyone,

I have come to a stage where I have received a letter before claim (LBC) from Gladstones Solicitors and I have 30 days to respond - https://imgur.com/a/mmkZHmu (Just a humour thing I've spotted - there's no signature under "Yours Sincerely" hah.)

I am typing up a response to my LBC letter - which I will send to Gladstones via email.

    So just a quick background:-

    - I was visiting my ex-partner who was dealing with some serious personal issues, so I decided to stay the night. I parked the vehicle within a bay very late on 5th June 2018 and forgot to place a permit, provided by his ex-partner, on display. A PCN was placed on the vehicle on 6th June 2018 at 00:39 as "Invalid Permit"

    - I have attempted to appeal using template for BPC or IPC members from NEWBIES thread - unsurprisingly this has been refused. I have ignored every letters from debt collectors (I still have them).

    - An SAR email has been sent to UK CPM on 26/07/2019 - awaiting response.

Reponse to LBC REMOVED - updated response can be found at a later date.
