Thank you. You have to appreciate that there is a lot of information on this thread, and I'm trying my best to make heads and tails of this and how I should proceed in my situation.

I am not at the stage of creating my own defence yet, but at a stage of sending a response to LBC - there is not a lot of explanation as to how you should respond to LBC.

As for my LBC response - I have removed the part where I said I have sent SAR to the client. So as far as I am concerned my draft response to LBC is ready to be sent. I simply wanted your opinion or constructive criticism. :)

Did you include the request for a hold in relation to you seeking debt advice?

You are claiming ignorance of who was driving

The ppcs monitor this forum and can use posts in your thread against you in Court

You need to go through posts to ensure there's nothing contained in them that is contradictory

Right - well if I am honest, I parked my car at this location late at night and went to my ex partner's flat to obtain the permit. Upon my return I found a PCN on my windshield - also the signs were not visible at night time as there was no lights, and the texts were far too small to read (in my opinion).

You'll have to forgive me, this is my first time dealing with this - and I'm clueless on how to proceed or whats the best way to proceed. NEWBIES thread is a fantastic thread which, I'm sure, covers a lot but it is a lot of informationfor one person with no experience whatsoever to absorb.

you need to edit your posts in this thread then , and remove any hint of who was driving, in case they take screenshots of your posts above

being honest could lose this for you , unless you are not using POFA and taking a driver angle instead of a keeper angle ? never heard of "no comment" ?? you MUST NOT lie about this, you can be evasive if you wish, using generic terms, but must not lie

your LoC rebuttal talks about POFA, which does not apply to a driver

first task is decide what are the best grounds for defending yourself ? keeper or driver ? then edit your posts accordingly

a driver does not include POFA, because POFA does not help a driver

the DRIVER parked on the day

the KEEPER has been receiving letters

of course its complicated, if it were simple this forum would not exist, and it takes years for people to qualify as solicitors or as CILEX qualified people, hence why you could employ a lawyer at great expense

nothing you say will stop this juggernaut, it will end in a court claim, these are just the sparring rounds before the main fight , a warm up to the main event

GLADRAGS will do what their client tells them to do , you are delaying the inevitable in order to gather your evidence for the main show when the MCOL arrives next month

I am telling you how it is so that you are under no illusions, its not as simple as painting by mumbers, its a complicated game like FORTNITE where you need to learn a lot in a short space of time, or pay hundreds or thousands to a lawyer, like BECKHAM did to get off on a technicality

the court claim is coming, make no mistake about it

the main topic here is the SAR, not the LoC rebuttal

You are writing to a known entity so 'To whom it may concern' is not appropriate.

The correct salutation for a formal business letter is 'Dear Sirs'.

And change 'Regards' at the end to 'Yours faithfully'.

Apologies for lack of response yesterday, I felt overwhelmed and upset by how stressful and confusing all this is.

I also thought this - my ex-partner who is a tenant in one of the flat, and I think being a tenant comes with a permit to park your vehicle in car park. So my ex-partner did give me permission to use her permit and park in one of the bays.

If needed, I could try and contact my ex-partner and have her provide a witness statement explaining that she has given me permission to use the permit and park my vehicle on this date?

I will alter my response to LBC in the next hour or 2, and alter all of my other posts within this thread to remove of any contradictory.
