Last November was pre-lightbulb so I don't know how much I owed then
, but since signing up in here at the end of April I've managed to get my debt down from around £24,900 to around £22,900, so I've paid off a little over £2,000 in 6 months. Quite pleased with that

I haven't really added up properly - but my one year LBM anniversary is coming up end of November - I think, from looking at my credit files etc I will be between £5000 and £6500 - I know this is a broad scope, but I'm expecting some money in the next two - three weeks (hopefully).No Longer works for MBNA as of August 2010 - redundancy money will be nice though.

tomorrow I am paying a chunk off my debt - 5k so once i have done this I will have about 3k in debt which means in a year and a bit i will have paid off about 11k

What an interesting thread...I have paid about £10k off this year so far...the figure at the bottom on my sig is from the last few months..I agreed to somebody elses challenge to pay off £7k by christmas (can't remember who's though)...I'm very happy with what I've achieved as I have been off work for 6 months and have only been back one month...it's all thanks to all the help on this site and living frugally...0

I agree, its really inspiring to see where everyone's hard work goes and makes you realise how this site is improving so many people lives.

I have managed to reduce overdafts of £3800 down to £600... I am reducing it now by 100 a month.0
