Brexit is a massive shambles, our country is such an embarrassment right now :(

I would agree with that wholeheartedly. It is a complete mess and I cannot see tonight's vote making anything clearer.

And the shambles continues... my head is still firmly in the sand wrt Brexit. I can't bear to listen to any more.

Well, Friday is here and I'm delighted about that! I've got a busy weekend and an even busier week next week so I just need to keep my head together and not go crazy spending. We have a night out this weekend which will probably be spendy, but we haven't been out together in the longest time. We have money put aside - I'm looking forward to enjoying it :)

Not a lot going on money wise - things are ticking along, the fridge is pretty empty but will be restocked this weekend. Next week will see another £526 paid to debt plus maybe a bit extra depending on how the account looks.

Hope you're all having a lovely Friday.

It does indeed :( The answer to your Prolific question is yes, I've refreshed the page loads today to see if I can cash out so you're not alone :D

Hope your busy includes some fun and it's not all work related. Enjoy your night out with hubby, I expect it will be doubly enjoyable knowing you've saved the money for it. :T

    Have a lovely weekend. xx

Thanks for the warm weekend wishes everyone! We have woken up to a blanket of thick snow this morning and there's more to come so our busy day will be made more interesting for sure! Haha thankfully our car is good in the snow.

Another £526.41 paid to debt yesterday bringing me to £2,727.18 paid this year so far. 27% of the 2019 target. :)

I'll come back later and do a March update to see where we are at overall.

First, to get the kids to school and then get my car looked at before starting the day's work.

    Balances and paid amounts
    Loan: £5,264.10 / £15,792.30 (£10,528.20 paid off - 67% paid)
    CC1: £4,194.97 / £4,804.97 (started from scratch in July 18) £610 or 13% paid off
    CC2: £3,944.58 / £5,031.14 (£1,172.38 paid off - 23% paid)

    Total: £13,403.65 / £25,619.44 (£12,310.58 paid off, 48% paid)

    Good things:
    • Total debt paid off is now over £12k :T
    • Total debt left is into the £13ks
    • Loan is over 2/3rds paid off now
    • Credit card 2 is under £4k...only just but it is!
    • All debt is back on 0% now.

    Not so good things
    • No lottery win yet...

Pay off your debt by Xmas 2019
    • January - £854.92 (£218.51 overpaid) - 8.6% of challenge total
    • February- £1,012.27 (£375.86 overpaid) - 10.1% of challenge total

      Total so far: £2787.18 / £10,000 (27.9% of challenge total):j

    Savings
    • £1,930.38 in general savings account (this fluctuates depending on what we need extra for - e.g. this month it's a wedding and i need to pay £100 for a night class that I'm going to)
    • £130 in clothing/ gifts account... again, fluctuates a lot because of the nature of the account!
    • £200 in Christmas saver (will be £600 by November)
    • £301 in CU saver (£50 added every month)
    • 240 EUR in cash (from husband's failed trip away due to illness) - for summer holiday
    • £200 in cash that I haven't yet deposited into the bank
    • £??? in my sealed pot! Guesstimate £100 but that could be wildly out either way! I keep putting anything above 50p in when i can.
