Homegrown0 wrote: »Well, i spent some time on my spreadsheets to adjust the nursery costs from September and I'm quite pleased with how things are looking. It's looking like my DFDs from each debt will look like this:
Loan: January 2020 (9 months)
CC1: March 2020 (11 months)
CC2: June 2020 (14 months)
Wow, Homegrown! You are absolutely steamrollering it! :THomegrown0 wrote: »FINALLY my £100.01 that has been pending on TCB since December has cleared! Nice start indeed! What you doing with that money?

It'll be paid into my CC1 as an overpayment - every little helps. This money actually came as cashback for paying our holiday so it's nice to be rewarded for booking treats :rotfl:
PB, I feel like I'm finally making progress but I just want to make sure that I'm actually able to commit to the extra payments that I've scheduled in. Keeping the savings going at the same time should allow for that so if anything comes up the savings can buffer that instead of having to take money out of the overpayment pot. I'll take it as it comes but I'm feeling geared up for the next chapter!Sealed Pot Challenge 075

Morning HG
Those dates are looking so good :T Fingers crossed nothing crops up and takes you by surprise but even if it does I'm sure you'd be all over it like a rash so that it doesn't extend your debt free dates by too much.
Have a lovely day. xx0 -
I'm mega cautious about the real world too. It's crazy isn't it but my condition and disability makes it's really obvious to anyone who knows me. I'm completely paranoid!
Yay to the free hours of childcare. Make sure you separate that cash so it doesn't get swallowed up without you knowing it's impact. XFinally Debt Free 24/4/20230 -

It's a lovely feeling, isn't it? :A I know exactly what you mean. I'm currently in a bit of a lull period after doing quite well for a while but I'm trying hard to not to lose hope as there is progress happening, it's just not showing in the numbers yet.
Keeping some savings for an emergency is no bad idea.
Keep on keeping on, my friend! Well done! :TDebt: £11,640.02 paid in full! DFD: 30/06/20

That's my main priority - overpaying as much as we can, while still living our life and still keeping some money aside for savings. It's important to me to be secure in knowing that we can cope with a moderate emergency. So far, so good!Choccygirl123 wrote: »I'm mega cautious about the real world too.
