If Hastings confirm the email is genuine you will be fine. Isn't there a Hastings representative on here?thetriggerhappypwner wrote: »Turns out that Bikesure think the email from Hastings is fraudulent.
They are now contacting Hastings which is even more delay.

It appears this issue dates back to before your renewal in 2016. How did you manage to obtain insurance in 2016 & 2017?
Why did you not follow up to resolve the issue back in 2016?"A nation's greatness is measured by how it treats its weakest members." ~ Mahatma Gandhi

I declared it then and they were not bothered by it. I did exactly the same as I did this time, explained the situation clearly and what happened. Still can't get insurance.0 -
so this company XXX insured you 2016, then again in 2017 but will not insure you 2018? Very strange. What has changed?thetriggerhappypwner wrote: »I declared it then and they were not bothered by it. Have you tried a broker?"A nation's greatness is measured by how it treats its weakest members." ~ Mahatma Gandhi

Brokers I do. Tried it repeatedly.
I had 2 incidents, I am sure I have mentioned them in this thread, one a fault incident claim made, second non fault claim not made.
That is it. Nothing more has changed except for my age being 2 years older than in 2016.0 -
Seems like the cancelation on the policy on it's own wasn't too bad but the cancelation along with the 2 accidents have made the risk too high for insurers maybe. All your base are belong to us.0

Well good news. I found a policy with mce who have done me fully comprehensive policy for just under £182. All paid in full and one less problem to worry about at last, although they were not quoting me a week or so ago for some reason.
Thanks mce for helping me out!0
