Thank you all for your support and loveliness, I will reply properly later, but unfortunately things have gone from bad to worse for my wonderful Mum within the last 24 hours and I am struggling to keep it together at the moment. Thank you all, I always feel overwhelmed by the kind words and support from everyone here.
It's been another harrowing time for my Mum but she is still doing her best to fight everything life is throwing at her however, she is still very poorly. I just hope and pray she has the strength and will to keep her fight up.
I am feeling very emotional and a bit hopeless about some things I can't change atm, it doesn't take much to make the tears flow. I'm not sleeping well either despite trying, so that doesn't help. I hope things start to improve soon, I really do. A bit of good news would be so very welcome right now.
There was a house viewing on Monday which came to nothing - the reason the buyer gave confirmed they were just being nosey and had no intention of buying. Another is scheduled for tomorrow, although that appointment has changed twice. I have everything crossed they make a good offer so I can get out of here and we can move on with our lives.
The current water feature that has now materialised in the lounge every time it rains may put them off though. I am so tired of fighting these cowboy builders.
I did the shopping last night, it cost around £45 but I couldn't get everything I needed, so I will need to pop to Tesco tonight to pick up those things. It will have to cost under £10 as that is pretty much all that is left in my grocery budget until the CB hits the bank on Monday.
£130 has been confirmed as cashback from my energy switch back in February which I'm really pleased about. Fingers crossed that is payable soon so that I can round the mortgage down a little and put a small extra payment into the savings. I'm hoping to be able to stash some of the tax credits into savings too, but will have to play that by ear.
My mobile has started playing up this past week with the battery draining within minutes. Obviously, with DS not with me and my Mum so poorly a functioning mobile is really important to me atm so I've done what I can to try and solve the problem. I really don't want to have to pay out for another one so fingers crossed the problem disappears and it starts to work properly again.Mortgage @ 03/2019: £125,000, Now: £51,706.16
