Need advice on 'extras' we're being charged for fitting a bathroom

Interesting, I used a Romanian plumber and his mate to do my bathroom. He was fully qualified in the UK They charged for labour by the day and I paid for all the supplies because they did not hold any of their own. He said this was how they worked in Eastern Europe. On occasion I went with them to Builders stores to agree and buy items.

They estimated how many man days based on the amount of work needed after discussion with me - it was a complete refit, moving around all the pipework and waste, tiling, all wall replastered, allnew fittings, the works basically. The cost included one day to snag out afterwards.I think they ran over by one day but I was very happy with everything. I paid them a deposit for initial supplies and I settled all the builders stores bills as they provided them and paid for their labour every three days. All worked out fine.
