:A persuaded DH to take leftover chicken to work that needed eating up.
:A chase up work expenses as they owe me £100

Morning Campers,
No meetings today, no solicitors appointments, no errands, so this is likely to be an NSD. Other useful stuff:
*Loads of garden jobs. Many of these have made it onto my 'Annoying Jobs' list & will only take 10 mins or so each to do.
*Stitch more of birthday gift. The end is in sight but I may have to ask my friend to sew it up as I have never lined a bag before & it needs to be neat as gift is for a v good needlewoman!
*Two baths from 1 lot of hot water.
*Make sourdough loaf. Sourdough jar erupted overnight so at least I know the culture is nice & active!
*Make tomorrow's packed lunch.
*Pull rhubarb & freeze as crumble base or just in blanched chunks.
*Cut more bunches of fresh herbs for tying & drying.
*Make tamale pie. Freeze rest of turkey mince to make a chilli for another week.
*Check Onepoll & Prolific for surveys.
*Resume tracking my food intake as have been a proper greedy girl this past fortnight & can feel my jeans getting tight again. This behaviour can stop right now. 1LL - I agree wirh you how cessation of food tracking leads to increased nibbling.

Ok, those are my plans. Wishing you all a peaceful & productive Thursday.

Afternoon all
Lovely here today, if a bit windy!
A few things done this morning:
Cleaned bathroom
Cleaned bedroom and landing
Walked into town and bought some groceries from Iceland - so pleased to be able to walk a decent distance again :T
Used £10 of shopping vouchers from RM surveys for groceries, which got them out of my purse, and meant that I spent less than £9 of actual moneyGot most of the things on my list, but will need a trip to Mr S at the weekend, I expect, as there were a few things that I want that Iceland don't stock.
OH has gone on a canoeing adventure with DD1, which is apparently his Father's Day present
Camper van is coming back tonight :j:j:j not looking forward to the big bill  but definitely looking forward to some trips away in it
We have leftover Thai chicken curry in the fridge for dinner, and I think I am going to spend the afternoon tackling the front garden!
Must also update spending diary / spreadsheet at some point
And look for surveys if I feel so inclined
Hope everyone is having a good day0 -
Hi all,
Lovely day here today.
Quiet week at work too so took the opportunity of taking back some time owing and going to my old property - managed to finish clearing the garden and do the last few niggly bits so, other than a quick wipe round before photos are taken it ready to go on the market :j:j:j This will also mean that i get to spend weekends with my children again instead of spending long hours down there doing DIY :T
Small things today:
:A switched off tv when smalls went to nursery and its still not on - surprises me how little I miss it
:A no lights on yet either
:A NSD again today so thats 8 this month (good for me)
:A resolved missing work expenses - will be in bank Tue
:A portioned leftover braised ox cheek - one portion for DH to take for lunch tomorrow and a portion for freezer
:A cleared out baby cupboard and found some baby pasta and snacks still in date so will add to stores
:A small shopping list done for mr Iidl tomorrow
:A meal plan done for next week
:A used last of leftover rubber chicken for tea tonight
:A cashed out £2.95 from survey site - gone to debt fund
:A wrangle spending diary and spreadsheets now we are coming to month end. realised yesterday that when DH is paid tomorrow his account will be in the black for the first time this year. He had a large overdraft and for ages his wage has not been enough to pay it off but I've been leaving a few extra pounds in the bank every week and finally he will be in credit - probably only for a day or two until the bills go out but its progress - a tiny milestone but a milestone non the less

Morning all :hello: good work on the overdraft spudsmum it all helps. Wells it's payday here too, so I've been up and done the money shuffle already. Everything where it should be and there was even some funds left from last month which will go to savings as extra
how times have changed :rotfl:
My list for today:
Forgot I had homemade chicken stock for risotto yesterday and got ys fish out, will have that tonight
Dd didn't have time (eye roll) to eat her quiche for lunch yesterday so she can have it back today
I've got a Foxgloves garlic flatbread which are amazing from freezer and a small pot of something mince and sauce like, hoping bolegnase :rotfl:
Small to prepaid club, only 3 weeks left
No washing to go out as I'm up to date :j
Double check budget sheet and go through with DH to engage him more on the way we do our finances, I'm hoping we can have a frugal few months and save even more between now and the end of the year.
DH also mentioned breaking the £2 jar for spending money for holiday (less £1 for another sealed pot)
Going to start TT again to savings each day, have got out of the habit
Check to see what needs watering later in the garden, hopefully pick some rhubarb
Enjoy your day folks.0
