Wow, lots of bugs and germs going round at the moment, hope all the poorly peeps start to feel better soon. Not a fabulous day but also managed
a couple of niggly jobs off my annoying things list
collected library books
arranged for plasterer to call tomorrow for a quote
refilled soap dispenser with bubble bath (from stores) - last week I emptied the cupboard on our landing so that hubby could freshen it all up with a coat of paint and I discovered just how much of a toiletry stash we have  - 3 bottles of shampoo that we can't use have gone in homeless collection box (shampoos were an offer at boots for free ages ago) - we are NOT buying anymore
Won a competition and there was nothing on the website that DH or DS liked or wanted so I've used the money to buy 20 pairs of socks for the homeless shelter
Night all x

Now need to wash up the things that don't go in the dishwasher, and find some fleece to keep the pigeons off the little cherry tree - they shred the leaves at the top  and will probably eat the cherries if they get the chance!
Sure my DW hasn't been round? She ate a whole punnet of cherries the other day. :rotfl:Debt-free day: 8th May 2015 "Remember that sometimes not getting what you want is a wonderful stroke of luck," Dalai Llama0 -
Hi June-Penny-Jugglers,
Mornin'. Early to bed, early to rise...today I'm going for a coffee with an ex-colleague who also has the old mind-issue. I never socialise in person, so this is a huge deal for me. Friend insisted on paying.

Morning everyone
Sending hugs to the poorlies, those struggling or anyone who just needs a hug at the minute.
Have been in pain since Sundays sporting event-all self inflicted but thoroughly enjoyed it at the time. Have been waking up at 4.30am with arm spasms, pain clinic would kill me, promised I would go light on the sport:D
More hospital this afternoon.....must get motivated
DD BF has been staying over, very handy for clearing up the bits in the fridge and freezer as both are walking dustbins:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
All banking and spends book up to date.
Minimal spends so far but must buy cat food today.
Pleased at good habits by DD. No spends at sports event on Sunday as packed lunchboxes and a flask of tea were made by her. Uni has done her good, she is very much into hate food waste thinking and keeps her own spends book:T
Having a nightmare selling an item on eBay for DD. First time selling, fraudulent winning bidder, second time despite stating UK only-winning bidder from Vietnam. Offered it out as a second chance-nothing, it's up again and one bidder has already retracted their bid. Just want to get the item out of the house now:(
RM surveys to do today
Off to do cat cleaning now...oh the joys:rotfl:

I've had reasonable success with Facebook marketplace - that might be better? Would be a local buyer probably?LBM 11/06/2010: DFD 30/04/2013Total repaid: £10,490.310 -
Morning all
Not much sleep again, so modest list for today:
Check banks and update spreadsheet (Done)
Some paperwork for business (Done, printed stuff out on some of the reams of paper you get with RM surveys)
Clear up kitchen Done
All food from home, though I do need to start a shopping list!
Make a big chicken curry with chicken I got out of the freezer last night - will make sure it lasts for 2 days and OH doesn't eat all of it! Done, used mangetout and spring onions from the gardenHalfis now in a tupperware in the fridge for tomorrow
Cover cherry treelet with fleece to stop the pigeons from shredding the leaves  Done
Water anything that needs it Done
Might go to sales unit this morning, as OH is having the car all day tomorrow, off on some canoeing adventure with DD1  Done
Persuaded OH to come for a decent walk after dinner - he has put on an alarming amount of weight since he hurt his back before Christmas, and hasn't got back into the habit of doing exercise. I am determined to sort this! Plus the dog will enjoy extra walks
Redeemed £4 of Amazon vouchers from a survey site
Just learned that our camper van will be back tomorrow :j so will need to pay the bill
If I do anything else, it will be a bonus!
Enjoying watching the sparrows diligently doing the rounds of the veg garden looking for caterpillars - free pest control0 -
