Hi June-Penny-Jugglers,
Mornin'. Busy day ahead. Trying to balance getting enough rest and keeping busy and fit. Yesterday I sat in my armchair for too long and gave myself backache.
Debt-Free-Nillionaire Continuity Plan Year Four:
THINGS I WILL DO:
* Check online banking. Done.
* Take medication. Done.
* Turn alarm clock off at the wall til tonight. Done.
* Lunch will be batch-cooked soup. Defrosting.
* Breakfast is a lonely potato waffle and scrambled egg. Done.
* Clean bathroom light pull-chord. Soaking in bleach.
* Sort out my own eyebrows. Done.
* Get my expenses put through for this month to avoid an occurance of expense-mageddon. Done.
* Get some exercise. Done. DW and I headed out onto the moors for an hour for a walk.
* Dust the unit that houses our ornaments that I've been avoiding because it looks like a big job. Done. Only took 5 mins.
* Speak to my boss. (Not looking forward to this.) Done, it was fine.
* Yesterday we borrowed 12 travel books from the library trying to decide where we are going, will take 10 of them back as we drained the travel section of out wee library! Done.
* Tighten screw that secures saucepan handle before it falls apart. Done.
* Top up Stardrops squirty bottle from concentrate. Done.
* Chase online/text therapy referral. Still awaiting an activation code.
THINGS I WILL DO TOMORROW:
* Get DW to look at my ankle. It's an old injury that's annoying me.
* Sort out lots of things for our holiday which is really soon. We decided we needed to get away from it all for a week. :j
* Make quiche.

Morning ally
hope you find the right balance today
I'm feeling particularly smug this morning after falling to sleep for the evening while putting madam to bed last night at 7.30! I woke up at 4.30 and even after a lot of faffing around this morning I have watched a show I missed last night, done my cc statement/banking & straightened out, ran the dw and tidied round. And I still have 10 mins left. Wondering why oh finds it so stressful getting madam ready for school on his days!
Today I am out with dd - we have started spending a day together on our half birthday'slast month she took me horse riding. Today I'm taking her to a spa for a facial and afternoon tea. Got a deal on groupon
that is going to take up most of my day. But in addition I will:
* fold and put away washing
* bed clothes/food ready for the next few days
* continue making a skirt
* alter a couple of tops
* email supplier of fabric for skirt I made last week. My lovely beautiful skirt has started pilling at the sides after only 2 wears
* start making some dolls clothes for madam's birthday in a few weeks. Going to use some of the clothes she has grown out of but loves :money:
* really must do a meal plan and shopping list very soon as we are down to our last couple of meals now!
Ok better goDF as at 30/12/16

Morning all
I had noticed the daft line spacing thing too Ally, but assumed it was me!
Didn't get round to posting yesterday as I didn't do muchGot OH's cold and a twinge in my back, but determined to keep the faith today nevertheless:
Washed hair and allowed to dry naturally (as if I would bother with doing anything else :rotfl:)
Home grown strawberries for breakfast
Check banks and update spreadsheet Done
Peg washing out on line to dry Done, the weather dried up after a rainy night and all the washing is dry now
Loaf in BM to avoid shopping! Made an olive loaf, to use a part jar of lurking olives in the fridge
Stuff from fridge / salad from garden for lunch Done
Stuff from freezer for dinner Done
Water whatever needs it in the garden - we keep getting silly little bits of rain overnight, but not enough to do any good! Done
Potted the rosemary cuttings I took earlier this year, as now rooted
Picked rhubarb and spinach / chard. Washed, chopped and froze both as I don't intend to use them in the next couple of days
Dead headed climbing rose - is this moneysaving? Well, lots more free, yellow roses will result
Staked gladioli which were falling over - DD gave me loads of bulbs and I don't think I planted these particular ones deep enough! If they survive, they will be cut flowers for the house
Picked a few more strawberries
Now need to wash up the things that don't go in the dishwasher, and find some fleece to keep the pigeons off the little cherry tree - they shred the leaves at the top  and will probably eat the cherries if they get the chance!
Check for surveys
Aiming for a no spend day as I am a bit lacking in these! Not spent anything :T
Hope everyone has a good day0 -

On the plus side - Foo Fighters! Woo!
Ok today's mission:- B/L from stores. Probably some sort of snack tea at the gig.

- Charge phone in work - done
- Try to be calm

Morning all :hello: hope everyone is ok. I had a rubbish night. Had planned to get up for a run early before work and got everything ready. By 1 am I was awake feeling ropey, started throwing up about 2 for about 3 hours. Managed to get back to sleep about 6. Am exhausted and obviously no run to boot! I suppose I should call the doctors as they are trying to wean me off some medication that suppresses these (and other symptoms) and as I'd not had a bout for some time I thought it was working, obviously not. Anyway, on to MSE things.
My account for star1ng bank I opened has been verified, the most straight forward process ever. I opened it for our holiday but for some it would make an amazing bank. App only, took about 2 minutes to open account. Can categorise your money so can see where you are spending etc.... not sure how old you have to be, but would be good for teenagers if they an use it. Will mean no fees whilst abroad.
Transfer £10 to ^^ to make sure it works
Working from home
Get some washing out
Think of something for tea from stores
Make something for work lunch for tomorrow
Check banking
Check for surveys
Discuss mortgage with DH
Send some photos to mum and dad who are away. Use what's app as it's free
Post vets form, use recycled envelope
Check fleabay listings, see if I can list a few more
Have a good day folks.0 -
Oh dear CLF and PF here's hoping you feel better soon!0

CLF - Hi, & thanks for asking. It is a lot better than it was, but I think it is going to be one of those things which comes & goes, depending on how much bending I've been doing. It seems to be just a small group of muscles which are obviously vulnerable to overuse, since I pulled them badly last summer. I can go for ages without even a twinge, then I can do a load of weeding & planting and it kicks it off again. The killer movement is bending, while simultaneously reaching out my arms. Never mind, it does subside eventually, & there are people with so much more to worry about than a dodgy bit of back.
Hope all the Poorlies are picking up today. I shall have to add mr f to the list. He's better than he was (he's virtually never ill - At work, they actually thought they'd lost his sickness records......turns out there aren't any cos he's never off!) He is continuing to pick up, but still not 100% & really shouldn't have gone to work yesterday in my opinion.

And here is today's list of money saving efforts:
*Overnight laundry plus one other load (on 30 degrees & short spin to save energy) blowing dry outside on the whirlygig.
*Dinner as per meal plans - using up two extra portions of a meal I cooked a couple of weeks ago with a garlic flat bread from the batch I made yesterday.
*Froze yesterday's leftover slow cooker turkey mince chilli for a 'free' meal another week.
*My new mobile phone battery arrived - under £7, so defo cheaper than a new phone & gives me time to continue with my current sim-only contract without being bounced into anything new without the necessary amount of research.
*Stitch a bit more of the birthday gift I'm currently working on.
*Make tomorrow's packed lunch.
*Did my mid-month budget check-in - uncovered a bit of weirdness.....think will save that for updating my dfw diary.
*Did 4 surveys.
*Watered veggie garden.
*Did household admin & filing.
*Cut open conditioner bottle for extracting the last bit......still haven't had to open my new one yet. Even though I have long hair at the moment, there was enough in there, so am glad I had that final, final 'go' & didn't chuck it.
Got a bit side-tracked by some local political stuff after that, so didn't have quite so much morning left as I hoped.
Cheers all,
