mentioned in the ad in the new emma's diary - a 14 day trial pack of spatone for the first thousand applicants. i just applied and they said i'd be getting a pack.

spatone is a liquid iron supplement, it's not a high dose, just the RDA. i put mine in ribena, it disguises the taste. iron tablets cause problems with my digestion, spatone doesn't.

Thanks, I've been taking a sachet of this a day for the past couple of months and it seems ok, easy to take in orange juice. I had low iron levels in my first pregnancy - will see if this has made a difference when I have my 28 wk bloods taken in couple of weeks time.

hi, i think it made a difference to mine, my 28 weeks test showed 11.5, it's not usually above 10 :-)

i paid £5.99 for a box of 30 sachets from boots, they were part of the 3 for 2 on vitamins so next time it will be £11.98 for 3 boxes.
