We're fortunate in that we have a really good independent dairy just a few miles away (points in a northerly direction. A lot of local shops stock their milk - which is also a lot fresher than the stuff supplied via Arla etc (I mean Arla UK)

Why am I in this handcart and where are we going ?0 -
It has been sometime since I posted on this thread...but thought about it yesterday when I bought 24 toilets at Tesco....going to get more before the prices goes up.
Anyway...Certizine never without them !!(but ran out when away), get them from Home Bargains are around a £1 - when I was away I resorted to Pirateze from a leading supermarket (still Certazine) and nearly £5....the Home Bargain work the same.0 -
Anyone have any advice on dealing with food rioting?0

No advice MrSingleton. Y'see that's why we prep so we don't have to deal with food chaos. We can stay at home all safe, warm and not the least bit stressed. I sometimes wonder who are the kranks in prepping - the preppers or Joe Public.0

Yep when I looked on the Boots website yesterday I was quite surprised - 30x Allacan (what I normally get via prescription) for two quid or 30x Piriteze for £9.99 (!!!)

Hoping very much that fresh milk, butter, cream and the British sorts of cheeses will be around for a long time yet thanks to our dairy farmers.
And oats for our porridge, savoury or not, are grown in the UK, too.

Buy a taser and attach it to the front of your shopping trolley

Yes, get prepared now and then you don't HAVE to be involved in food rioting.....that's the whole point of 'being prepared'.0

Why would there be rioting when even the worst case scenario in Yellowhammer doesn't envisage shortages?
Stirring should be saved for porridgeIt doesn't matter if you are a glass half full or half empty sort of person. Keep it topped up! Cheers!0 -
Just last night I signed up to local doorstep milk and eggs deliveries. I'm hoping that the large regional dairy get first dibs as usual from our local suppliers and we'll be OK come a frightful time. I'll have to curtain twitch at the crack of dawn to get them in my hand and not left on the step if it gets ugly.0
