Do road rules still apply when a public highway is closed?

With respect, that is not it in a nutshell. If you read my first post, I think that will answer your question. I'm trying to find out if/how I can drive a non-legal vehicle on a road during a road closure.
That's it in a nutshell.
Your first post did not explain either
(1) the nature of the closure - a planned event (and if so, what), road maintenance, adverse weather, etc.
(2) in what respect your vehicle is not legal.0 -

1) Planned event
2) No indicators, tail lights, reversing lights, seat belts, roof etc. Just headlights. (It's a slightly modified Polaris Ranger EV)0 -
Mercdriver is intimating that you are a certain notorious troll poster. Given your previous threads I think that is unlikely - you're quite entertaining in your own rightNo idea what your comment about my BMW is (having never owned a BMW).
I need to think of something new here...0 -

A troll being someone who just makes stuff up? I can assure you I don't have time to ask random people I've never met false questions about things that have never happened.
Edit: Wikipedia was my friend here. No, I don't come on here just to argue, but I probably am quick to react to people's silly comments or accusations that I'm lying.0 -

That was a great example of people mocking/accusing/trolling rather than simply answering the question that was asked.AndyMc..... wrote: »My personal favourite was him reversing down a hole.
And then you decided to take it further by bullying me and stalking me around the forums just to bring it up over and over again. Anonymity on the internet can be a great thing, but people like you should remember that there is a human being at the other end.0 -
