Oh good luck Mrs-MP - keep us posted!

Made a good start as up, had breakfast, got DW and WM running already. Normally I'd still be in bed now .... got into rather a bad habit of going on Facebook on my phone first thing. Catch you later.

I keep subscribing to the new thread but don't contribute much.
Flying is more in the garden recently with bare minimum indoors till the threatened rain later in the week.
Assessments to do Tues and Wed then have till next Thursday to write up 5 before I go on holiday. That's probably all the uni work till Oct.
Did a lot of filing and sorting in study yesterday while computer was doing a huge update. Hope to do more this week but going to a conference Thursday.
Lots of baby birds in garden so constantly filling feeders - blue tits, great tits, wagtails, blackbirds robins and starlings. Sadly no baby fairies, wonder where they nest.
Slinkiness pathetic, am fitter but only about 3lb lost in all.
M N being changed from Methotrexate to one of the quinines so fingers crossed he has fewer side effects.
Remember...a layer of dust protects the wood beneath it.

Morning all. Hope you're all ok. What a beautiful sunny day.
    So far today I have:
Dropped car off at garage (yes, the price of petrol is getting silly)
Walked the dogs & spent ages chatting with a fellow villager
    Watered plants in garden
    Put rubbish and recycling out
Eaten a big bowl of strawberries from the garden
    Still to do:
Wash up (some of it is from yesterday)
    Gardening
    Village club
    Sports comp later

    Have a great day everyone
Spend less now, work less later.

I'm in today, did quite well on Friday and over the weekend so not too bad in main areas.

DD2 and I are attacking the playroom, girls are now 19 & 23 and studying away so do not need a playroom. It has my desk in it, covered in junk and DD2 desk covered in school stuff from when she left school 2 years ago. She struggled with leaving and moving on but is now very settled and grown up loads so suggested we tackle this room and turn it into a big dining/snooker room (we have an antique dining table that converts to a snooker table). It's also a wonderful bright light room which is just used as a dumping ground now. I am working all day Tues & Wed and Thurs afternoon which means we have half the week to get on with it. Hoping to fill the bins

In between this we are working through her laundry!

    Hugs to all
    xx

I went to the gardens on the seafront yesterday and saw lots of baby blue tits, goldfinches, blackbirds, and a robin that sat really close for me to take a photo of it! Lovely to watch and listen to :D

Ok, did a little in the kitchen yesterday so listy sorted . . .

    Manic Monday - Kitchen

    Level 1

Empty bins, swill them out and put them outside to dry in the sunshine
Clean sink and draining board, wash any racking and wipe the taps and plugs - including underneath *shudder*

    Level 2
Wipe cupboard doors, sockets and switches, door handles and anywhere else sticky fingers linger
    Wipe washing machine seals

    Level 3
    Clean windows
    vacuum the floor

    Extras
MAD half hour - challenge work? Decluttering? Just do half an hour then STOP. You'll feel virtuous and it WILL give you the oomph to do another half an hour another time.

Although tomorrow I have got a staff meeting after work then axe throwing later so not sure how much time I will have.

 axe throwing? That was enough to fetch me out of lurking JJ :rotfl:

Thanks - as always - Natty and Valli for the weekly lists.

I don't think I deserve the title of Flylady just lately. :(
I am so struggling with heat, lupus flare, worry about Mr LW (plus stoopid "NHS choices" farce) and total general lack of mojo.

Did manage to scrub most of the bathroom yesterday, and have done a WM load plus a bit of hand-washing today, but that's about it. :(
If your dog thinks you're the best, don't seek a second opinion.;)
