I have just opened a raisin/icic 1 year fixed acc and put in 10k, but after reading some of these posts about the risk with raisin and the intermediate until it actually reaches ICIC i will not put in any more.

Yes i probably am, i was going to put 20k in,, the bonus on that is £40 plus the interest, i know its not great but that was my plan.

Technically your money is held in trust in an MIM client account with RBS. Yet the FSCS has confirmed in this type of structure you still get the UK £85,000 per person, per institution savings safety protection of the account provider, ie, ICICI (in the few days before it gets to ICICI it's via RBS's protection).

I (along with other family members) received an email earlier this evening stating that if opted in to the new Raising/Starling platform by 17th Sept then they would give a £10 bonus.

Not bad, not bad at all.

For those who haven't received an email, check your Junk/Spam mail folder.

What did the launch bonus of £50 or £80 request you to do to in the email claim for the bonus, same as new bonuses: same email address, Bonus in subject, same details in text body?
