Morning all. Beautiful day here too. :j:j
As long as your mum is happy thats all that matters. She obviously enjoyed herself and went home a happy lady.

Hadn't thought of it like that. You are right she did go home happy, albeit a bit earlier than I would have liked her to go.

How is your DS this morning?

We can't take our fence panels out as they are attached to the fence posts IYSWIM. Still thinking about whether or not to get the sprayer though, but won't be doing it this weekend so a bit longer to think about it.

    Sounds a lovely holiday Jefery.

Have a lovely sunny day all. Back later to catch up. Off out shopping now before it gets too hot.

Morning CW and everyone else :) . Holiday was brilliant thanks AH. Ibiza is a beautiful island and we all made good use of the all inclusive (never done it before!). The hotel was great, spotlessly clean, lovely staff, 3 pools, beach very close, super food and a nice quiet location but walking distance to lively bit. Excellent!

Glad you had such a great time Jeferey, sounds a lovely location as well. The quiet life for you and your dw and the lively area for your dd's.:rotfl:

It probably saved you a fortune going all inclusive, even your drinks bill can really add up.

And better still, you brought the nice weather home with you for everyone else:rotfl::rotfl:

So if your fence posts are wood then you can just spray away. Its really quick to use and does good coverage. However you do need to spend 20 minutes thoroughly cleaning the sprayer after use so the spray holes and the platic tubing stays clog free. My son much prefers it to a brush.

My ds will probably have his operation this morning as just spoken to him and they wouldn't give him breakfast and took his water jug off him.

    hi CW
just seen post about your DS
sorry to hear hes not well, hope things get better for him soon

Had a rotten day so far.

My son is in hospital. He went to the doctor as he has been having antibiotics for an infected toe and the doctor phoned the hospital and we had to go straight there and he was admitted.

He is on iv antibiotics and they will operate on his toe either tonight or tomorrow to drain the infection.

I just hope they sort the infection out soon, his toe looks really bad.

The builder is coming tomorrow afternoon to start the pointing as well, so a busy day tomorrow too.

    Take care all

Close down firefox once you start the install.

So sorry to read about your son CW. I hope he isn't in hospital long and they sort out his toe Is this a result of the fall he had a few weeks ago?

sorry CW, wasn't on MSE at all yesterday, so missed your post about DS.

Hope he is ok and not too bored in hospital and they operate soon. although they don't operate over the weekend usually, so if he is not operated on today, it will be Monday.

must be quiet for you :(

Blue will love the new laptop when she gets used to it and will say "how did I ever use win 7? it was rubbish!" LOL

Snowdrop, sounds like your Mam just enjoys spending time with you and doing things she is used to and comfortable doing them. She also probably worries that spending too much time with you restricts you from spending time with hubby and kids. So doesn't like to impose. She sounds very happy though.

jeferey, sounds fab holiday, when you finished gardening... come down sooooooth and do mine please!

where's PM, she been hiding again?

Good evening everyone just quick catch up.

CW hope DS has had the OP if was needed so he now recovering. Haven't read posts so not sure if you may have updated how DS was already just wanted to wish him speedy recovery

Just bkd into our TL at Covent Garden. Blue they now routinely put 4 pillows per double bed and not as flat as normal either. Think this is currently in middle of refurb as remember them sending an email few months back so hopefully we got a new mattress. Can't believe it thou someone has already broken the bedside table thing of the wall.

DH has given me our wedding anniversary present early still don't know why he didn't keep it until Sunday. He has booked a day highland tour in Scotland, can include whiskey tour & the best bit tickets in the evening for the Edinburgh Military Tattoo which I have wanted to do for years. All I have to do is sort accommodation, had a quick look at Radisson as we have a loyalty card for them eeek 1 night Edinburgh £384 yet Glasgow £116 lol DH said for difference can stay there and pay taxi would still be cheaper. So when have more time will check frequency of trains for getting back to Glasgow at night. Knew it would be expensive as they have the Fringe Festival also on that month.

Oops they back now went to get bottled water for room now we off for something to eat and enjoy London night life.
